At least they aren't going to be playing all over sports in the WCC! They cut off their nose to spite their face. I still have a good feeling about how this is going to turn out. Something similar to what I outlined last week will occur. This is just the first domino to fall.
On a similar note, the MWC and CUSA are meeting tomorrow in Irving to discuss a sort of play-in game for a BCS birth. It's kind of a low-rent idea but it does give you the hopes of a BCS birth if you lose a game or two. So you'd have a conference title game and then a play-in game. Sounds like the 65th team of the NCAA tourney.

Again why I hope the Big XII gets desroyed:
Looking down the schedule on ESPN.com there on 12 Big XII games and only 2 (OU game and ISU game, only we can watch OU cause they are both on ABC at the same time) are televised. As a fan or alumni you should be able to watch your team play and the teams in your conference play every week. I know this has been stated and most of the games are vs spares, but still. Dumb.

If you were trying to say what I think you were trying to say you are correct...but I'm really not sure.

I think he WAS saying what you thought he was trying to.
I also think he posts from a phone and sometimes leaves out relatively important verbs, adjectives, and nouns.

Ha! Actually I was on my computer in my hotel room for that one and still managed to screw it up. I think I was trying to watch the Ranger game at the same time and wasn't payin attention to what I was doing. Landry also pulled a couple keys off the keyboard that I had to put back on. I now have to press down harder on those. Also a possibility.

They just said on the Fan that TAMU is the only D-I school to no be on tv this year. Yup, there has been a big stink about it on TexAgs the last few weeks. I'm not sure what Bill Byrne is trying to accomplish, but he is the only AD in the country trying out this philosophy. That just doesn't make much sense to me.
