that is neither here nor there.
He is doing his players a disservice by making excuses about the officials, though.

You obviously haven't watched the entire presser because he did call out certain units and certain players for not making plays when needed and looking flat.
The calls were pretty bad, though, and changed the entire landscape of the game. The first PI overturned an INT and SMU scored a few plays later. I could have sworn the same back judge at the Fiesta Bowl threw it. The number they called it against wasn't even on the field and the defender closest to the receiver never came within 5 yards. In fact, the receiver ran out of bounds on his own and was never forced out...but the BJ threw the flag only after the INT.
SMU was also gifted a drive at the 50 with 1:00 to go after TCU was called for two fantom PFs on the kickoff. I've watched it over and over and could not find one thing that remotely resembled a personal foul. They didn't score there but it sure seemed like one certain individual tried to make it happen.

How is it horrible and pathetic? Vandy's president said the SEC will not expand any time soon and it content with 13 until they find the perfect candidate. Mizzou is not the perfect candidate. It could just be that he's taking the safe route b/c the SEC is scared, for some reason, of raiding other conferences. I think they still have their eye on an ACC team and I wouldn't be surprised if in 10 years we find out that ACC team did not pay a dime out of their own pocket to leave the conference. Mizzou seems like a pretty good candidate. Statewide support, large alumni base, great academics and they bring in 2 fairly large television markets (STL and KC). East: Kentucky Vandy Tennessee Georgia Florida South Carolina Missouri West: Auburn aTm Arkansas Lol Miss Miss State LSU Alabama Solid.

Any calling out he did of his players is negated when he makes excuses about the officials. Its weak. Even HS and Jr. High coaches shouldn't stoop to that.
Bad move. Why can he do no wrong in your eyes? Its obvious he was wrong.
Mike, I wouldn't be surprised to see Auburn in the East and Mizzou in the west.

Geographically this set up makes the most sense
West
LSU MSU Miss Ark A&M Mizzu Vandy
East
UF Bama Aub Tenn UK UGA USC
Yes, Nashville is a little further east than Tuscaloosa, but it's also the second closest SEC town to Columbia, so it makes sense for Mizzu and Vandy to be in the same division.
That said this makes the divisions pretty unbalanced, so I doubt it shakes out this way. I agree with Fisch that Auburn will probably just move East and then everything else will stay the same. The only problem with Auburn moving east is Bama will probably have to give up their rivalry game with Tenn, but as we have seen rivalry games aren't as important as they once were.

Finch, I hope you are right. Will gladly swap Bama/au for Mizzou/VANDY/aTm. No offense to my Aggie friends.

I wish it would as well, but there is no way it does from a balance stand point.

no offense taken. Y'all own us.
If bama wants to keep its storied rivalry, they need to be the ones to move east. That would be alright by me.

Being reported that the Big 12 is inviting TCU. So, 9 - 1 + 1 is still 9, when MO leaves. I still think it's a dying conference unless they bring in at least 3 more.

Well you can have that ass clown, he's just a little b-t-h in my eyes now. Jones gave him a compliment and he threw a tantrum, reminded me of my 3 year old. Oh and stop talking about the officials, if you didn't suck so bad you would have won.

agree. I just heard what Jones said.
Wow, Patterson is worse than a 13 year old girl. What a freaking baby. I lost a TON of respect for him.
I think the Big 12-2-1+1 will hold at 10 unless BYU agrees to come along. Then they'll add the cougars plus 1 to get to 12.
Problem is, as has been, that there is not a single quality program out there that would go to the Big 12. None. TCU, offense intended, is not a quality program.
