We need this win like I need a million dollars. We have one quality win all year, were made OU's bitch last week, and have them again next week. REGIONALS?? NO ONE'S TALKING ABOUT HOSTING A REGIONAL??

TCU gets a big win 4-2 over the Ags last night, big win for the Frogs. This makes the series with OSU very very important. 1-2 this weekend and the Ags are officially in a slump.

Big win. Freshman Andrew Mitchell pitched great. 1 run, 2 hits, in 6 innings. Frogs got a little lucky with the wind and hit 3 bombs. Typical Frog baseball...great pitching and can't do a damn thing to produce runs.

Ags got the sweep of #20 OSU this weekend in College Station. Great weekend for the Ags and basically makes the Big 12 a two team race with A&M and tu. Ags currently have a one game lead over tu for first.
Ags host former coach Mark Johnson and Sam Houston this week in the mid week game and then travel to Missouri for a three game set. Missouri is currently the worst team in the Big 12, but just took 2 of 3 from Baylor in Waco this weekend so they are definitely not a team you want to overlook.

TCU swept UNM. Friday they scored two on a suicide squeeze. They have OU at Lupton tomorrow night.

Need to sweep this weekend. texas has ou in Austin this weekend. Might be able to pick up one more game this weekend if we can sweep. That would be incredible, but sweeping a team in their house is a very tall order no matter how bad they are. I'm really wishing for ou to take two from tu, but that is also very unlikely.

Frogs lose on a walkoff to DBU 9-7. We can beat the Waco baptists but the Dallas variety are thorns in our sides. This was a trap game as OU comes to town tonight and the Frogs are in a stretch of 12 games in 16 days, which is a beating in the college game. I haven't seen the box score but I'm willing to bet Schloss let the starter go a lot longer than he wanted to in order to preserve the pen.

Ags lost to Sam last night, their fourth mid week loss in a row. Ags are still in good shape but now need to sweep Missouri in their house this weekend to stay on track for a national seed.

They have really been mailing in the midweek games, haven't they. There is no way you should lose to Sam Houston.

Frogs lost to OU Tuesday night in disgusting fashion, 7-4. They had 4 throwing errors that led to 4 OU runs. They also made three outs on the bases. They had the tying run come up to the plate three times in the bottom of the 9th and couldn't get a run across. OU made some outstanding defensive plays. One diving catch saved three runs. The Sooners look a million times more fundamentally sound than the Frogs do. I still have no clue how they were ranked 7th going into this week.

Ags blow a save Friday night, get beat up Saturday, and bounce back Sunday to lose the series 1-2 this weekend. Ags are still a lock for a regional, but are probably eliminated from a national seed. There is still an outside chance, but they will have to go on one heck of a run to make it happen.

Yet another bad week for Aggie baseball. Ags started the week off with a loss to UTSA on the road, then finished the weekend 2-1 vs Dallas Baptist at home. Any chance at a national seed is gone and the Ags now might be playing for their regional seed. The next two weekends the Ags have Nebraska at home and then 1 in CS and 2 in Austin vs. tu. Anything less than 4-2 in that stretch and the Ags are probably packing their bags for the regional.

Frogs claimed their 6th straight regular season conference championship by taking 2 of 3 from second place Utah. They lost Friday night 7-6 in extra innings. 8 of their 15 losses have been by one run. Another was by two in which they were up by three going into the 8th. Another was by 3 in extra innings. They are 0-3 in extra innings this year. 36-15 with one more weekend series to go is nothing to sneeze at but going 5-8 in one run games is cause for concern. All three weekend starters are out with various injuries too. They blew a kid's redshirt the other day and all he did was throw 6 innings of 4 hit, one run ball.

Ags have won their last two Tuesday games and swept Nebraska over the weekend. They have won 5 straight and have a one game lead in the Big 12. They play tu this weekend needing one win to tie for the Big 12 title and two to win it outright. First game is Thursday at Olsen, with the Friday and Saturday games at tu.
Ags are now a lock for a regional host and still have an outside chance at a national seed depending on how things shake out in the rest of the nation.
