pitching is how you win on the road. I sure hope our production on the bump continues.

Ags went 3-1 one last week winning @ UT-Arlington and going 2-1 @ K-state. Pitching actually looked a little down last week but the bats did enough to get the 3 wins.
Now they play tonight vs Houston in College Station and then travel to Lubbock for a three game series against tech.
As of now the Ags have a top ten rpi and are top 10 in just about every poll I have seen.

We need to sweep the tards. They suck and we always seem to play like crap when we go out there.

Good stuff. However, from the little bit I am able to follow each year, it seems that the Ags fizzle out as the tournament nears and never hit the post season strong. I hope they turn that around.

They actually usually suck during conference play, then win the Big 12 tourney, and are out of gas for the regional.

Tough loss for the Ags last night with the Cougs beating them 3-2.
Obviously the bats just weren't there, but the pitching didn't help themselves with too many walks. All three runs that scored were put on base with a walk.
Still, Houston has a top 30 rpi so it's not a horrible loss by any means. It just makes the series in Lubbock this weekend a little more important. tech isn't very good, so I would like to see a sweep, but the Ags always seem to play terrible in Lubbock so I will be more than happy with 2-1. Although if they do play poorly 1-2 would not be a shock, so they better be ready to play come Friday night.

Huge series win for the Ags this weekend in Lubbock. Ags lost the Friday night game but came back and won Saturday and Sunday to take the series. Their first series win in Lubbock since 1997.
Ags are currently 24-8 and tied with tu in the Big 12 at 9-3, but the Ags have played 9 big 12 games on the road to tu's 6, so things are setting up well for the Ags right now.
Ags now have another big game @rice in the mid week and then play @waco on Friday and then finally return to Olsen for the Saturday and Sunday games.

Correction, tu has only played 5 big 12 road games.

TCU has a team ERA around 2.50 and are 22-10. 1-7 in one run games. They just drive me nuts. There is only 2 games that they really should have lost. They'll be a 2 seed in CS or Fayetteville.

Of their 11 losses 8 have been at home. Teams that only should have lost 2 games don't lose that many games at home. Also, how many games have they won that they probably should have lost. It's baseball, there are always close games that could have gone either way.

Ags drop yet another mid-week game @ Rice 2-0 last night. I don't know what it is about the Owls but they have had the Ags number the last few years. Hopefully the Ags can get back on track when they return to Olsen this weekend.

Ags go 2-1 against the fighting Baptists this weekend, winning the Friday game on the road, losing 12-1 (ouch) at home on Saturday, and then bouncing back on Sunday with a 2-1 win.
TCU comes to town this Tuesday and then third place (one game back) OSU comes calling this weekend. This is definitely the biggest week of the year so far for the Ags. TCU has been playing better as of late and really need a big RPI win on the road. OSU has also been hot lately and this series along with the tu series will probably decide the winner of the Big 12 regular season.
