And he had 2 RBI. More runs produced than allowed. Pretty insane.

He was pretty average most of the starts before June. I guess it was only a matter of time.

Good game for the Rangers last night against the worst team in baseball. Ran through a lot of bullpen to close it out, but a win is a win. Good to see CJ get his first hit, and a triple at that. Kins can't win for losing. Great game at the plate with 2 BB's, a triple and a line drive homer. Picked off at first...meh.

Adam Morris, the man behind Lonestar Ball, continues to claim that Kinsler is the MVP of the Ranger's so far this year. I just don't get it. Yes he walks a lot. But he makes boneheaded plays and his average is awful, especially on the road. I disagree with a lot of Morris' HSOs.

He's a no talent hack. That's why he has to have his own website to publish his bullshit HSO's.

He is walking a lot, which is good...but that's only in the last month. It took him two months to realize he's so pathetic when he swings that bat that maybe he shouldn't do it as much. I think his OBP is around .340. That's not to say it would be .440 if he were hitting 70 points higher (baseball just doesn't go that way) but it would be nice to see him in the .280/.400 range. He's 29 now and will be a free agent in two years. His skills will start to diminish in about 3. Last thing I want is an aging knucklehead. Time to cut bait. I wonder what a Kinsler/Hamilton package will bring?

Mike... You used to HATE Cliff Lee.
But I agree. I really wish we had him here.

BaDD Radio was talking about how Lee was probably never coming back because of the heat. Probably true.

As much as I like the Temple, I wonder what it would take to get a new stadium built within the next ten years.

Would only happen if Cuban can convince an NL team to relocate to Plano/Frisco.
Jim Sundburg was on the pregame show on the radio yesterday and said they were looking into renovations for the ballpark, including addressing the heat. I emailed Bob about it and he asked Tom Grieve a few minutes later. Tom almost laid out on him and it was a few seconds away from an e-brake.
