New thread for your Rangers talk. Pitchers and Catchers officially report tomorrow. What are your predictions? Was 2010 a fluke miracle season? Or will we string together a few more runs in years to come?

We'll see how long the above attitude lasts.
I dont think it was a fluke. Rangers will compete again.

I think the Rangers are one of probably 6-7 teams in the AL who can legitimately say they have a shot at the pennant. That is all you can ask for.

2010 was a fluke.
Rangers are a 3rd place in AL west type of team.
The MY cancer will create huge dissension among the ranks and haunt this team for years to come. MY is a bigger fraud than A-ROD or Texiera ever were.

Just heard Wash say he plans to hit Kinsler leadoff. I can hear Ian bitching already.

Hmm. That seems weird. I thought Andrus did just fine at leadoff.

Ideally, Borbon is the leadoff man. Andrus at 2, Kins at the bottom third.

The problem is bourbon isn't going to play everyday and I would rather have an everyday leadoff man. That why I want Andrus again. However if Bourbon stayed consistant then yes he would be the ideal leadoff man.

Borbon is NOT a leadoff man. His hitting is inconsistent. He's one of the worst bunters on the team. His baserunning skills are just awful. His SB % is unacceptable for someone with as much speed. Until he gets this part of his game fixed he helps the team more by being on the bench.
E is not a #2 guy either. He's either a top of the lineup or bottom of the lineup guy like O. Smith was.
Not too keen on Kins at leadoff but E faded down the stretch. This is what separates the taxpayers from the professionals.

I think Elvis is your best bet at leadoff. Kinsler does better at the bottom of the order, and Borbon is terrible. Sure Elvis isn't the best in the MLB, but he's the best we got.

I'm saying 'ideally' Borbon would be the best. He has some work to do, but if he could straighten it out and be consistent. He's the best bet at leadoff.

Being a lefty you would think but he has 1000 times more to go than E does.
