Started strong at 9-1. Lost Hamilton for two months. Borbon has sucked it up at the plate and on the bases. And in the field. Moreland has been strong to quite strong at 1st. Young has been himself. Napoli has been a nice surprise. As has starting pitching. Bullpen has issues. Hope we hold it together.

Bullpen is hurting because of Hunter's injury.
We would have Ogando out there and that would be huge.

If Ogando keeps doing what he is doing then he won't be back in the bullpen.

Well then we'll have hunter in the pen, which will give some good depth.
Still won't have a great 7th-8th guy though.

I think Strop will end up being the guy.

Chris Davis starting at first tonight. I'll reserve judgement.
Too many moving parts on this team. I'd rather have a set lineup.

Murph in center too. MM in right and NC-17 in left.

I love the moving parts. We might be the most versatile lineup in baseball

I'm all for versatility, but Wash never has the same lineup for two days in a row. Let's find a lineup and give it a chance to work.

It keeps guys fresh and it gives them valuable innings in different positions. That comes in handy later in the year.

I don't mind it too much. I think it strategic when it comes to the pitcher you are facing. For example Napoli has hit about 50 points better against left handers over right handers throughout his career. I would, however, like to start working Mitch in there on a more everyday basis. That dude has some good ABs.

Moreland is my main point of contention with the revolving lineups. I want him in there at least 5 out 7 games a week. Coach makes a good point and too many good players is a great problem to have.

Well the awesome hitting lasted only about a week. Now its tough to find a day where more than a couple guys are having a good day at the plate. Mitch is quickly becoming one of my favorite players. Seems like a good guy that keeps quiet and does his job (lunch pail). He has been the most consistent and needs to play everyday (like my good friend Mike Evans said). I think thats just the way this team plays though. Once everybody gets hot again they will go on a nice streak. Thats what happened last year when they had that big month. I know KC is having a good start to the year but I am calling for a sweep this weekend. There is no way Bruce Chen is that great even though he is 3-0. I say they knock him around on Sunday.
