Carpenter lives for moments like this, Harrison has the deer in the headlights look. I have zero confidence in any pitcher we can run out there , except CJ (can't believe I wrote that). My God, they all looked scared shitless on the mound.
No way Napoli is NOT effected by that ankle tonight, especially catching.
Thought I might feel better after some sleep, but there is no way the Rangers win tonight.

Positive thinking!!!
I became a rangers fan in the early 90's..."swat team" days....Palmeiro, Gonzales, Rodriguez, Patralli, Franco, Sierra, and then of course pitchers like Rogers and Ryan. No one, including me, thought they could ever make it this far, but They did last year, and choked. Well, we're almost there, they CAN still pull it out and win.
....and I'm the biggest pessimist on the face of the planet. POSTIVE!!!!! Tonight we Win!!!

Who can they trust? Arthur Rhodes? We still have Gonzalez and Adams was victimized by bad luck. I think the only ball that got past the mound was a bunt by the pitcher. This is going to be epic. I'm ready. Who can they trust pitching? How about Chris Carpenter? He's 3-0 in the post season and when the game really matters (ask Houston, Milw, and Philly) he comes thru, unlike ANY of our pitchers. That SOB will go at least 7. The moment is too big for Harrison and the ENTIRE Ranger bullpen. It aint going to happen.

Again, any stat you throw out I'll throw something back. Rangers are 13-4 this year when facing a pitcher for the 3rd time. It's a mash unit on both sides tonight. I don't see where one team has a clear advantage over the other.

BUT these are NOT the regular season Rangers, these guys just went thru the most heartbreaking loss you could possibly go thru. Napoli, Cruz and Hamilton aren't at 100%, and the bullpen has lost any confidence they might have had. Add to that the fact that they are playing National League baseball and have to play the butcher at first base. I am watching MLB network right now and there are ZERO people in Ranger gear at this game. The greatest baseball city in the world has us in their sights and they won't miss. Go to the football game tonight, this will not be pretty.

That game was over before it ever started. This thing was won in Game 6.

I just turned down a free ticket to Game 7. Could be the best decision I've made all week...or the worst. I'll know more tonight while sitting on the couch at home. Glad I didn't take this ticket and stay another night. I had a hard enough time watching at home.

I was making good on a bet that was made here at work before all this started. You'll probably see one more of me when I get my world series shirt in the mail.
