I woke up this morning and felt like my girlfriend had cheated on me and dumped me all at once. I didn't want to get out of bed. It doesn't feel right to feel this beat up over a sport; however, we have invested so much in this team over the years and especially this year. It's a tough one pal. It's going to be tough tonight. I am beginning to feel like this is just the Cardinal's year.

and last year was just the Giants year?
I don't buy that. We had plenty of oppurtunities to win that game and didn't do it. The good thing is that we get to try again tonight. As heartbreaking as it was, today is a new day and if Harrisson pitches like he is capable, I like our chances.
Just win baby.

And yes, I realize that had I sat back and actually thought about it, and counted games, it would have dawned on me that they were still in St. Louis.....
graciously accepting dumbass award for the day.

I don't know what to say. Unbelievable. I was on the brink. My buddy from work and I were planning how we were going to run down and take my pic in front of the players celebrating in the 9th. The rest of the night was such a beatdown. Why can't we just shut them down? We had it. We had a opportunity. I never have trusted Feliz or Oliver. Hamilton finally did something for us and we F'ed it. I feel like my wife left me last night. I didn't want to get out of bed either. There I am standing in the middle of a bunch of jumping, screaming Cards fans. At least they treated me with respect in my Rangers gear. I can't believe this. I want to go home. I don't want to be here, not even for Game 7, if I had the opportunity. I just want to pack my bags up and get home. I'll never be able to explain how bad that felt. Today is painful. Get me back to Texas where I belong.

They cannot close it.
1 f*cking strike away, twice!
If they don't win tonight, we'll never see another Olshan commercial again with Nolan in it because he's going to blow his brains out.
Feliz... Where the hell where you last night man? You're supposed to be the shit with that low ERA.
I will watch tonight again with the hope that the Rangers remember what last year and last night felt like, and wish them the best of luck.

I just turned down a free ticket to Game 7. Could be the best decision I've made all week...or the worst. I'll know more tonight while sitting on the couch at home.

Everybody just chill the hell out. We got this. I thought I've seen at least a half dozen catastrophic moments this year and the team rebounded every time. Granted, nothing as big as this, but those moments built character. If there is any team that can forget a loss like this it's this group of guys.
I know, it's not normal for a true Ranger fan to have the faith of a child but I do. Harrison is rested. Carpenter is coming off 3 days rest. Their pen has thrown a lot more pitches than ours. Fat Elvis is the only one hitting. They had 3 hard hit balls all night; unfortunately they led to 4 runs. Forget the numbers. Forget the trends. For every 3 stats people come up with that favor STL I can give you 4 that favor the Rangers. If you buy into the numbers you don't understand how the world works. Don't sweat it. We got it. I'm anticipating the part where the ballgame starts...the bats are coming alive tonight.

Who do we think we can trust out of the pen tonight?

Who can they trust? Arthur Rhodes?
We still have Gonzalez and Adams was victimized by bad luck. I think the only ball that got past the mound was a bunt by the pitcher.
This is going to be epic. I'm ready.

Carpenter for the 3rd time in the series. I think our hitters will figure him out.
