I think it bounced off the guy's hands and into her lap, where her hands were there. From what I can tell she caught it off the bounce. Never touched the ground. Good play.

Well be careful when you do go there because as I documented in another thread St Louis is one of the most dangerous cities in America. C'mon Framp, you know Sully doesn't roll in public without 4-5 armed body guards. I've also heard that Sully had 3 clones of himself made to act as decoys whenever he goes out of town. Guess I'll have to come up with a more stealthy plan. STL isn't as dangerous as it gets credit for. I've walked the streets of STL many times on late nights. Stepped into a few suspect convenience stores in suspect neighborhoods after midnight. Never had any problems. |

Why didn't they put Beltre in at 3rd in the 9th? So what if you lose the DH. Bad move by Wash.

I think its way to easy to question decisions after the fact. For example, many are complaining that feliz shouldn't have pitched after 30 plus pitches the night before. If they would have lost by putting someone else in to close the game people would be complaining that Feliz should have been in. There is always a decision that can be complained about following a loss in baseball.

I have no problem with putting in Nefti. That's what he's paid to do and he should have come through. But there were two balls hit down the 3rd base line that turned into doubles. Maybe AB would have knocked them down...maybe he wouldn't have but you leave yourself open for second-guessing when you don't put your best team on the field in that situation. MY has been replaced at 1st late in games before...why not Wednesday when at 3rd? It just drives me nuts they had trouble with that AAA team in two of the three games.

Maybe the red lenses need some refinement...
This thing is 3-3 over the last 6, which were supposed to be easy games. My 12-7 call is looking pretty bleak now.
