Craig, you do realize that the use of the singular "Aggie" when it should be plural is a jab at A&M don't you? Its like calling tech-tceh or texas-tu.
When did you denounce your fandom of the good guys?
Smite.

So you don't think Mizzou is going to the B11+NU? I think it's a foregone conclusion they'll go and either Pitt, Syracuse, or Rutgers will round out the 14. Most likely Rutgers b/c it gives them a presence in NYC. They already have the Pittsburgh market in PSU. Syracuse adds nothing market-wise. If Mizzou were to stay in what's left of the Big XII then Fischer's scenario would work and they'd probably add CSU and AFA. But I don't think they will and the only viable schools would be KU and KSU, which would be gobbled up by the MWC. The remnants of the Big XII would have almost zero pull in a scenario in which they try to raid the MWC b/c the MWC is already viable and healthy. They wouldn't be desperate like the 4/5 that are left. The BXII's auto-bid would almost certainly go to the MWC as it currently sits.

The first time you did that in this thread I figured it was unintentional. Its the continued use of it that had/has me worried.

What the Big 12 would have over the MWC is a name. The Big 12 is respected, and contrary to what you may think, the MWC is pretty much a step child.
Also, lots of talk that the Big 11 is not going after mizzou. Even if they did, go get another MWC spare, ala CSU, or even Tulsa or someone like that.

I had no idea that the term Aggie was a jab. I will refrain from it's use from now on.

Man this just keeps getting more and more complicated. It looks like my hope of A&M joining the SEC is a pipe dream, but now I'm hoping that the new Big 12 invites tu and the Ags to make it a 14 team league. That to me is still better than the Pac 10.

ahh ok. That makes more sense. I am going to be anxious to see the new look of college football if it does go down. It will be weird watching the Big 12 knowing its about to die.

According to some radio sources (I'm still skeptical, but holding out hope) the SEC has officially invited Texas A&M. The thought is the SEC wouldn't have invited the Ags unless they knew they would get a yes.
I would love to be a fly on the wall in the meeting between A&M and tu officials.
