does anyone think this is gonna happen? Really no telling at this point, the Pac 10 and Big 10 are really trying to make waves and it seems like the Big 12 has no problems letting them do it at their expense. I have a feeling we will know a lot more in about 2 or 3 weeks.

Big 12 and SEC just sitting back. Maybe they're working on a deal of their own to combine and conquer the lowly BIGPAC 24.

Baylor by way of TU forcing themselves into the PAC 10 invite? I can't believe Baylor has the pull they do. C'mon Aggie's tell TU to shove it and come play with the big boys in the SEC!

Baylor by way of TU forcing themselves into the PAC 10 invite? I can't believe Baylor has the pull they do. C'mon Aggie's tell TU to shove it and come play with the big boys in the SEC! You have no idea how happy that would make me, but I know it won't happen.

I don't have any sort of feeling what is going to happen.
Ideally, tu would go to the Big22 and we would join the SEC. Talk about a must needed recruiting edge.

I still think it's going to be CU and Utah. I think that when the liberal blowhards finally let the dust settle there's no way in hell they're going to let a dozen Texas politicians tell them what to do. The State needs to get the hell out of college football affairs and someone needs to remind the Texas Baptists that Ann Richards is dead. Dee Ee Ae Dee. Dead. She can't bail them out this time.
Someone had a good quote at the TCU game last night when they were throwing the ball around like the Bad News Bears: Baylor's imploding and they haven't even been forced to join Conference USA!

Not sure how to digest this but the MWC announced today that they will not be extending an invite to Boise State at this moment. It had been widely rumored for three weeks that they would get the invite.

Well, Nebraska looks to have made the first move as they will announce within the next couple days that they will be going to the Big 10..... all this thing needed was one domino to fall. The Big XII is done in my opinion. Talks of Aggie and Whorn are meeting up to decide the next move. I think this Pac 10 thing is gonna happen. Sorry Baylor.

By the end of the month the MWC will extend invites to Kansas, KSU, and Houston. Baylor will go to CUSA to replace UH. ISU will go to the MAC13. Boise will stay in the WAC.
I still don't understand why the Pac-10 would want the Tards. I'd much rather have Utah than Tech if I were them. If that were to happen, Tech would go to the MWC, UH would stay in CUSA, and BSU would go to the MWC.

I think that if the 6 schools leave the Big 12 then the Big 12 should take
Kansas K state ISU Mizzou Baylor
and add
TCU UH Boise Utah BYU
and then a few spares to round out the new Big 12. It would be like the MWC but better and could still be an automatic qualifier.
