Mike, he's not THAT old...
There was a 'Bama girl that called in and said "Auburn should be ashamed of themselves. They are as bad as the politicians in DC. We NEVER conducted ourselves that way when we hired Saban." Good grief! You stole him from an NFL team two days after he went on camera and said he's not leaving! If I were him I'd be afraid of ever running into one of those players on the street.

They just had an "insider" on...and he said to not count out Petrino!!!! Hilarious. He said that he's a person of interest despite the $8M buyout. They are talking to Paul Johnson too. I think they'd love Johnson's offense. It will remind them of the segregation days-just a little modernized.

Mike, he's not THAT old... . You know what I mean: A native of Fort Smith, Ark., Bumpas received three varsity letters and was a captain for the Razorbacks. He was named SWC Defensive Player of the Year in 1970, earning consensus All-America honors at defensive tackle. He received a Bachelor's degree in education from Arkansas in 1973. He went on to play tight end and linebacker professionally for the Memphis Southmen in the World Football League and the British Columbia Lions of the Canadian Football League.
Bumpas was a 2006 inductee into the University of Arkansas Sports Hall of Honor.

If they want him that bad ($8M) plus the lawsuit that would ensue for taking a job with another SEC West school, then Auburn should do it. I bet Arkansas could find another native son that is looking for a job.

One redneck just said he had incontrovertable proof that the next HC would be Bill Belichick! This is hilarious. They just spout out shit and the others follow. One girl said that Auburn is very progressive and would welcome Gil. She also said there were celebrations on campus when BHO won and that there were crosses being burned at 'Bama.

Lot's of smoke around the Muschamp rumors.
Auburn was in Ft. Worth yesterday to interview Patterson and an unnamed candidate. The job was not offered.

I would rather get Leach out of the conference. But I guess this is alright.
tu will just go out and get the best DC in the country, though.

I would rather Leach leave as well but it doesn't look like it's going to happen.
