I was confident it would be a woman...but I was thinking KBH. I seriously thought she'd be 5th on the list. Either way, genius choice. I'm surprised the media didn't pick up on this earlier. It all makes sense now.
Instantly gets some of the women vote. Eight registered voters in Delaware gave a flip about the Biden choice. Thousands, consequently millions of women will instantly make their decision based on her. She'll garner many votes from women that felt disenfranchised from the DNC. This is truly a historic moment.
She from Alaska...how much further from DC can you get? Barry, you can't use the DC outsider bit anymore.
She sued the feds to drill in ANWAR and will be instrumental in getting domestic drilling going. She an environmental Republican but obvisouly has a firm grasp on the situation and knows the risks involved.
She has more experience than BHO.
She got her start as a sports reporter.
Once the Obama campaign passed on Hillary the McCain campaign was chomping at the bit for a woman.

Unforunate. That's our next VP you're talking about.
Another thing...she had a baby with Down's Syndrome this April. That will score huge with pro-life moderates. Her oldest son is in Iraq. She may be a better candidate than all the others!!

Not surprising that Stubbs knew it would be a woman.

Ask Mike. I've been championing a woman for a while. Didn't think it would be her though. I think it caught everyone off guard but it makes perfect sense. Don't see how we all missed it.

As far as I'm concerned, those are non-issues. She had a guy fired b/c he wouldn't fire a guy who unlawfully used his taser. Her daughter got pregnant. Yes, it sucks but 95% of all 17 year-olds who have the opportunity to have sex will and the other 5 are wishing they could. She made a mistake but that in itself is no way a reflection on how her ability as a parent. All families experience something like this at one point or another. All my cousins have been screw ups at one point or another but my aunts and uncles were good parents. You can show them the right way all you want but in the end you just have to hope and pray for the best.
None of this crap would be mentioned if she were a man. No one would question whether she could juggle motherhood and VP duties if she were a man. The media wouldn't dare create a wild story about the DS child not being hers. They wouldn't question her record if she were a man. This is hypocrisy from the left on the HIGHEST order. They are jealous that the Republicans have the working mom, they have the attractive woman, they have the self-made woman whose career was not created by her husbandss power-mongering ego. How petty is it to attack a 17-year-old girl? Is this the best they've got? Isn't this the party that champions woman power?
So this is the same media that will go ape-shit over these petty issues but refuses to ask BHO about his connection to admitted and unrepentant domestic terrorist William Ayers, his connection to Tony Rezko who is under federal indictment for wire fraud and bribery, among others, and why he sponsored a bill that funnelled millions of dollars to an organization whose chief lobbist is Joe Biden' son? He purchased his house from Rezko in a shady land deal. He also funnelled $14M to Rezko's company in an urban development project. Rezko hosted his first Presidential fundraiser in his own home and made the first substantial campaign donation.
Here are the facts: The left is trying to pick on and bully a woman all the while ignoring the fact that their candidate is a result of the corrupt political machine from the south side of Chicago (cue Jim Croce). He is a puppet. Always has been. Always will be. The left refuses to acknowledge that they screwed up in failing to nominate their most qualified candidate.
I can't wait for her to come out swinging and show how tough she is.
