I think the University of Arkansas just served notice that it is in the college football business. Big Time. It is amazing what can be done when the good ole boy system is done away with and PROFESSIONALS are allowed to do their jobs. Hat's off to new AD Jeff Long.
It is a great day to be a Razorback.

I think he will be good once he gets some of his type of players in there.
They will probably be a little plain on offense for a while. He better hire a great DC. this ain't the big east anymore.

Did you see who Auburn hired as OC? Tony Franklin...He is the architect of the "Franklin System"
You throw every down, its like the tech offense. Lots of crossers and short routes. He is from Troy state.
The SEC is about to hit the air waves.

According to Frank Broyles and his experts; that kind of offense won't work in the SEC.

I have always thought he was overrated and I had no idea why Auburn tried to pull the stunt they did. He will do no better than HDN.

I was just saying he needs to have a better defense than he did at Louisville. His offense will put points on the board. Well, at least it will when he gets it going there. It could take a while to see his TRUE offense. He will adjust it next year for his personnel.

Like Fischer said...this isn't the Big East or CUSA. Yeah, I'm a little bit familiar with what conference this is. I guess it's not the MOUNTAIN either?

Just take a look at his track record...its not that impressive. 2006 had wins over spares like Miami and Kansas State and decent teams like WVA and Wake. I'll give him '06 but other than that its not really impressive. '05 had a win over a 6 loss Oregon State. '04's greatest win was against Boise State. '02 had a win over FSU. During that time, he went 1-2 against TCU, that win being in '04 when TCU stayed home during bowl season. Sprinkle in a few wins against average UK teams, I'm really not that impressed and I was shocked he was able to land an NFL job.
I think what he did to Atl. was shitty...I understand it, but it was still shady and I hope Ark. realizes what they are getting into. It's kind of like dating a girl that's known to cheat.

It's kind of like dating a girl that's known to cheat. Yeah...But at least you know she's good in the sack. Point taken...and you just made an argument against yourself.
