I think its a good matchup but the offense finally got it going the last 3 games I don't see any reason why it wouldn't continue into the TB.

I think New Mexico will get the invite to the Texas Bowl. Leaving TCU to take on someone like Fresno St. in the New Mexico Bowl. Either way, very spare season.

If the Big XII get two in the BCS then it's TB for the Frogs. If not, NMB. I really don't see any scenario where they don't get 2 in.

NM is ahead of TCU in the standings. AFB has an actual MWC tie-in. The NMB is the MWC's last tie-in. They have 4 commitments and TCU is the 5th BE team. TCU will go to the TB on account of the MWC not having a tie-in for them.

I think it would be a great game, but I think UH would win it this year.

It could rival the 05 game that went something like 59-56 in favor of the Frogs. The Frogs may actually have more people there too.

Here's a theory...the bowls have a pecking order but ultimately the conferences have the final say. The Independence Bowl has the second to last choice before the Texas Bowl. The Big XII may pull their last team (CU) from the IB in favor of the TB against UH. CU is a horrible traveling team and they'd probably rather have a team in Houston than Shreveport for recruiting purposes. Of course they'd rather have an SEC matchup but Houston may be a better destination for CU. And the IB may be happy to have the Frogs who will travel much better than the Buffs would.

The only thing is the IB has a payout that is about 500k more than the TB. So many factors to ponder. I'd rather see TCU play an SEC team than UH but it's also on the 30th...a Sunday night...which would mean I can't go...These bowl committees have a lot to think about.
CU's bowl entourage is notoriously one of the worst in the country.
