Accoustic Douche is pretty good. That "Losing My Religion" cover is better than the original.
Here are a few of mine:
RP and the Pesos (of course), Fred Eaglesmith, Old 97's, James McMurtry, Max, Steve Earle, and Thrift Store (might be the greatest live).
As for the worst I've heard:
There are countless. I hate the Texas country act that sings of nothing but beer, pot, partying, bait, ammo, etc. And horses, cattle, and cowboys when they've never been on a horse. But that sure is what the crowd always wants to hear, right.

You forget that a large portion of the "Texas Country" crowd have never been on a horse or spent a day building fence or hauling hay. But every year they go down to their daddys big deer lease where they rough it with out such luxurys as; ipods, microwaves, playstations, and the hardest of all to go with out, blowdryers.
