TCU beat Tech 2-1 yesterday and is up 4-3 in the 7th right now. Admission was free today. If I had done any work at all I could have gotten out of here in time to catch the game.

TCU and Clemson are the only 2 in the top 30 without double digit wins. Both have 6. The next fewest is 10. Games against CSF, Texas State, Ole Miss, and Baylor help. Even Tech is at 44 right now. OSU is way down the list at 159.

TCU climbs back into the top 25 with a sweep of UNLV. Seven wins in a row.

Ok last week for the Ags. Split with UT-Pan Am on Tuesday/Wednesday, then lost to KSU on Friday, but were able to win Saturday and Sunday to take the series.
Ags were scheduled to play UH in Houston last night but the game has been rescheduled. They now travel to Malibu to play Pepperdine this weekend. Need to win at least one to get a nice RPI bump, if they win two it's a great weekend.

One interesting development so far this season has been the absolute suckage of the Big ?. The only good team right now is A&M, with tu looking to bounce back from a rough start. Baylor is ok, OU started strong but looks pretty weak after getting swept by tu. Other than that the league is nothing but trash.

It wouldn't surprise me, they usually do, but they swept an average OU team (RPI 131). I wouldn't say they have bounced back until they beat someone with a pulse.

Really nice weekend for the Ags. Took all three games from Pepperdine on their first road trip of the season. The bats are really coming around and the starting pitching threw 4 straight complete games going back to last Saturday. Bullpen is still a bit of a concern but hopefully they will come around after the extra long rest.

Current RPI
#5 - A&M #7 - Arkansas #14 - Baylor #28 - Texas State #29 - tu #39 - TCU
Only three Big ?? schools are in the top 70 RPI, by contrast the SEC has 4 in the top 11
