I know nothing is guaranteed. But what I am saying is it looks like whoever comes out of the West will have a better record than the Central winner. Thus, giving the Ranger (hopefully) HFA in the ALDS.

If the Rangers play .500 ball that puts them at 91 wins. The Angels would need to go 26-12 in their final 38 games to get to 91. That would be a in percentage of a ridiculous .684. I'm not saying it can't be done. I'm just saying they have to get hot at the right time while the Rangers lose their momentum. I am still nervous about the 7 game lead. I just think its harder than I/we think it is to come back from that.

Didn't we go through this last year? Trying to figure out the HFA rules when one team is a division winner but the WC had a better record?

I think the Division winner gets it if the WC team makes it to the ALCS. Not 100% sure though.

Great win last night. My winning streak is at 4 and overall record is 9-5. BTW, we were heckling Carl Crawford all night and when Napoli came up I told him to back way up and get his popcorn ready. His homerun was just a few rows below us. I saw my uncle on Sportscenter. I love sitting out there. Milton Bradley has been the best sport about the heckling.

It is unbelievably hard for me to believe, but I have read twice that last night was the first night Michael Young has popped out all year. That is crazy. Kinsler should share some of those.

I hate counting games to end the season. I wish we had this thing out of reach, but it should make for some entertaining baseball for the next 3 weeks.

No, those were just tremors. Only two have been significant.
