Wondering why ESPN went with the Convention Center as a backdrop instead of the courthouse? Fail.

Should have gone with 8.0s.

It's not that bad, but could have been better. Hard to take a bad shot of downtown FW.

Saw Mike and Mike giving props to downtown FW this morning. They had the mayor and Mr. Bass on with them, and congratulated them on such a nice downtown. Also stated Bass is a stud for owning all of this.
The convention center backdrop is just for the Mike and Mike stage. The full ESPN set is enclosed with some mock TX with a longhorn on it. The field set has the courthouse as the backdrop. Overall, it's a pretty nice setup. Too bad the weather is gonna mess with them.
We went down there to check it out yesterday.
Oh, and it's 8.0's.

Saw the Dan Patrick show. They are setup in the parking lot of the AAC. Train whistles keep interrupting their show. LOL DALLAS FAIL.

Actually, it's just 8.0. Sandance Square was crazy this weekend. Saturday night was packed. Sunday afternoon was packed. Next weekend it will be even crazier. Fort Worth was pretty hectic anywhere you went. Fort Worth is riding high these days: less than a month since a TCU Rose Bowl victory, the Stock Show, and now the Big Game with the Steelers arriving in town later today. I'll try to snap some photos of Ben and some co-eds if I get a chance.

What's this influx of people and the weather going to do to our everyday lives?
I'm curious to find out what happens tomorrow and Wed. I can see schools and work getting cancelled by the end of the week, if not sooner.
There were already a ton of Steeler fans all over Sundance Square yesterday afternoon.

If I can't go in to work tomorrow I'll go to the Stock Show.

no kidding...It was a joke. One time I was meeting Stubbs there for an RP show. I had never seen the place, just heard of it. I was looking for a place called "ado's." I was standing right in front of this joint called "8.0" when I asked a nice gentleman where "ado's" was. Needless to say I felt pretty dumb. I am pretty sure Frampton was with me.
