It was a good performance for what they do. That doesn't transition well into a great live act if you're looking for great vocals or anything. The production was good. I bet it's split pretty evenly down the middle for and against.

The traffic to and from FW wasn't bad at all. It was pretty much non-existent. Stubbs was a master on the grill. Food was great. Kelly's snacks and peppers were great. Beers were good and cold. Overall good time at the Stubbs'. Thanks for having us.
All that said, we got hit by a rolling blackout of some sort and had no power for about 30 minutes during the 3rd quarter...
We caught the last half of the 4th back home.
This Super Bowl week never recovered. 400 people without seats. Sections getting shut down by the fire marshall. Entrances to the stadjum closed off due to falling ice. People waiting in lines for hours just to get in. Security re-routing people to the other side of the stadium, only to be turned back around and sent back to the original line they were in. Bitterly cold temps and rain on the crowds outside. Contractor responsible for said seats quitting the day before the game. Christina botching the Star Spangled Banner. Parties cancelled. Prince show/party cancelled then back on then cancelled again... fail. All in all, this was a massive Super Bowl fail.
We better get it together for the next one.

I wanted it to suceed for the NT area, not for Jerry. And boy did it fail. I still think they will get another SB it just may not be the 2015 one they are bidding on.

Yeah there are some things that were handled really poorly. That is pretty inexcusable.
As usual, I think Sully is being way over dramatic, though. Prince cancelling his party, and Christina Aguilara messing up the National Anthem do not carry any weight on whether or not the week was a success. The temp last night was in the 40's. I wouldn't call that "bitterly cold temps." I was 14 miles from the stadium, it rained for about 10 minutes. Not that you can control that anyways.

Right. His overreaction and knee-jerk go unnoticed by me many times cause I am getting used to seeing it.

My High school students even hated it.

Only saw about 7 seconds of it and I would probably venture a guess that I would say it sucked had I seen it all.

Well, you might have liked it if you like 1980's sci fi movies... that is what the "great production" was. Throw in the terrible music and you have the worst half time show ever.

Would have been better if Fergie would have had a Janet Jackson incident.

Super Bowl was a disaster for the area. Most of it couldn't be helped. Glad the Packers won (eff the Steelers and their whiner fans). Enjoyed the weekend, good times with great friends, except for Matt throwing the breaker on his party, and Fischer sticking me with his Whataburger tab. 2 thumbs up!

You should start up a drunk cab business. Sounds like outstanding service.

I outdid myself on the fajitas. The beef literally melted in my mouth. It was equisite. I got frustrated that the chicken took so long to cook but it turned out nearly as perfect. Sully's pork was just dumb luck b/c there was so much rub on them that I couldn't tell if they were done or not.
