I'm not saying I agree with questioning their move. But, it's the medjias job to write those types of pieces.
I think our hand was forced too. I'm just hoping we didn't ride adrenaline of a deal and offer more than we should have.

yeah, I know its their job. I just wish they were held accountable for being really bad at it.
Reporting facts, or even rumors is one thing. But when its your job to provide analysis, x's and o's, or strategy you should be held accountable just like the people you are analyzing.
I understand mistakes happen, you will be wrong some of the time. But when its constant back and forth and you're always wrong you should be held accountable.

With the use of social media and blogs, accountability has disappeared in the media. Its all about getting the news out first, breaking it. Whoever gets a rumor on twitter up first wins. Before the time of the internet news had time to work itself out for an entire day before a reporter could put it in the newspaper. They were held accountable cause that is what everyone relied on for their news. Now they can just get on Twitter from their I-Phong and report on something that they might have heard from someone who may have an inside person.

Did I need to have a works cited? I just figured the majority of the stuff we say on here is regurgitated from ESPN, the Ticket, or of the internet.

All NONE of my stuff is original... FIFY No need for a works cited Craig, although usually a "They were talking about this on the Ticket" or "I agree with what Gordo said about..." isn't too hard to accomplish. That was nearly word for word.

You can't prove that.

I think that is going to be my new argument to everything. "Prove it." Either the other person will give up and not want to go through the trouble, or they will have to do research and recording that in turn I really don't care much about anyways.

A very effective strategy if its a case of radio.
In this case, it would be very hard to prove you wrong.
