I just want the record to show that I have repeatedly stated in the past that Baylor would replace tceh as the dark horse team in the Big 12 (-2).

Now, they may not be quite there yet, but I stand firmly behind my assertion.

Finch can back me up on this, he won $20 off of me for that bold prediction last year.

It was a good and strange feeling to see Baylor take it to Texas. I do recall some statements by Fischer along those lines.

I think they will be really hard for us to beat. In fact, their game against OSU this weekend should be pretty good.

Briles did have somewhat of a meltdown when he called 2 TOs before a play was ran in the 3rd quarter. I think it was the 4th and goal play where they went for it. Could have come back to haunt them had they needed TOs late in the game. They won though, oh well.

That play was very important, you hate to burn timeouts but that is what you have to do sometimes. You're right, it could've killed them .

The officiating was terrible, too. Baylor got screwed on a lot of calls. tu is just not very good.

It was important but you could tell after the second one that he took the blame for it and new he messed up somehow. Once there was confusion it is necessary to take it due to the importance of the play. I guess the real mistake is not having the offense prepared properly after the first TO.

Good call Mr. Fischer, I just didn't see Baylor being able to hold it together for a season. I really don't think we beat them in Waco, their d line will eat up our o line. It pretty crazy to see Baylor at the top if the big 12 south and tu at the bottom.

Yup. But sometimes the defense lines up in such a way that makes the called play not work so you have to burn another one. But even then you should be prepared for that

They have impressed me this year. I thought they would start off strong and then fade but they have proven me wrong.
