Both does came into me. I shot the bigger one and she ran a ways. Finally found her about 30 mins later and dragged her into the clear. About that time the little one came back so I gave her the lead too. Meat in the ice chest soon.
Got some work to do.

Back in the stand with one mission. Big buck. Plenty of meat in the chest. Trophy time.
Drank a lot last night and pissed right outside the stand door as I got in. I am in a spot I haven't hunted since I shot my buck last year.

No scent cover. I stayed out here last night with no shower. So I smell like campfire beer and anything else.
Oh shit. Big buck chasing a doe through the trees out in front of me about 150 yards! Looks like a 10 or so!

Check how many points he has by shooting him and then counting them up close.

Yep. Pretty nice ole 10. The doe made it out to the clearing I'm hunting but he stayed back in the trees. Got a good look at him though. He's about like mine from last year. Want to hold out for something better. My phone is dying so may not have many more updtes

Been a good hunt so far. An hour in and just saw an 8 pointer. He was real young and small but he trotted across here like he was after something.
