Just caught a whif of myself...pretty rank. Doesn't seem to bother them.
I don't think its as cold as they thought it would get. Still pretty cold though. Its getting windy again.
I think they are starting to get to the rut.

According to my neighbor the rut is in full swing in Bosque county. He guided out there this weekend and told me it was crazy.

Big 10 came out after those doe. Lot of mass and his brow tines were super long and both split. Nice buck and hade him in the crossjairs but let him walk. His main beams almost crossed in front of his head. May regret lettin him go. I want something with more spread.

At this point I don't care what I shoot, I just want to kill something. We are also waiting till the second dove season opens up so we can kill some of them as well.

My dad and I are going dove hunting in January on that trip I won.
I am also going hog hunting in January on a trip I won at a silent auction for our school.
Finch and I are hunting on the 4th of Dec. for 2 bucks a hog, and a turkey.
