Who is this guy?
My dad got a 9-pointer the other day. He said there's this one joker that is monsterous that has been on his camera almost every day for a month between 3:45 and 5 AM. He was out early 4 straight days and didn't even hear the stirring of a church mouse. Maybe deer are smarter than I give them credit for.

Sorry I'm a little late to the party. Glad to see we are getting some deer posted on here. Sully and Fisch, looks like you boys had a good time. I hope yall repaired any holes in my air mattress that yall made with both of you trying to sleep on it. Sully, any of those deer look like these guys or bigger?  Couple of pictures of the deer I shot opening morning. Exciting as hell. I think this one is him on hoof a few weeks before.  Right after the shot  Back at the house  Definitely had some beginners luck going my way. |

Actually, funny you mention that about the air mattress... I decided I was going to take a nap in the living room one afternoon so I could watch tv. I went in the other room and grabbed Mike's air mattress and went into the kitchen to grab a snack. When I came back the air mattress was half empty. Seems I poked a hole in it while moving it.
Had to go to Wal Mart and replace it.

KL, yes his deer is at the taxidermist in Hamilton. He got a shoulder mount done.

Yeah, it has a lot of character and a lot of points.
It was also the first deer he's ever shot, so he definitely had to get it shoulder mounted.

I am seriously looking into a lease for myself for next season. I want to start hunting so bad. I'm the oddball in my family/immediate friends circle. Nobody else wants to do it and they think I'm weird because I enjoy that kind of thing. Plus, I want to say that I've shot, gutted, and quartered a deer all on my own, just to say that I've done it. All things in due time, though.
