Now we are at the back 40. Ran to the house for lunch and to pack up. We will see how it goes.
Fisch is nude. Not really sure why.

Hunting naked is exhilerating. I think it's making sully uncomfotable. Those high brows get kind of snotty about things

Shot fired!
Saw two spikes. Fisch dropped the second! He had 3 main beams!

Get a picture of nude fischer standing over his kill. That would be very caveman of him.

Fisch gutted that sucker in about 30 mins from tailgate to gate! We wrecked his life for sure. Came down to the 11th hour for fisch, but he got some meat in that freezer! We are both big buck hunting now. May take a doe too. Fired up on the way home now! High fives all around!

I'm sure they used to do a ton of nude hunting, until they figured out how to use the hides as clothing. Well done sir. And congrats on your kill.

We had a heck of a time this past weekend. Got out of town mid afternoon on Thursday and spent 4 nights and 4 full days at the lease. We hunted hard. I saw a bunch of deer. Only had one bad hunt, but then saw the biggest deer I've seen on the whole place. Maybe the biggest I've ever seen. Neither one of us got what we went for... a big buck, but we did both get meat in the freezer. A recap of most of the hunts is already posted, so I'll hit the highlights. Bucks are seriously chasing. Some are already paired up with does. The 3 biggest deer I saw all weekend were on neighboring properties, and in the cover. I watched a few does and spikes and young bucks the first few hunts before deciding to take the spike I shot. I usually get a little nervous when I get ready to shoot, but with this one, I watched him for a while, aimed and shot. Afterward, I got a little bit of the fever and shakiness. He stumbled around a bit, but the shot was right on at about 100 yds, maybe a little high. After I dropped him, his buddies had to check him out. Both of these were spikes. I shot that pic through my binoculars from the stand. Keep that back one in mind. In fact, I'll zoom in on him for you. Take a good look at those spikes on his head. One has two beams. Anyway, once Fischer made it over to pick me up, we took a couple of pics, and got him back to the rack. We skinned and quartered him fairly quickly and got the quarters to the processor in Zephyr. Great people. I'm gonna keep the hide, and we sawed the spikes off for me. The pressure was off for me. I'd hunted for 4 sits, and had a decent spike. Now, I never have to worry about shooting something for freezer meat, or waiting on that buck. I'm big buck hunting. Sunday morning I saw the biggest buck I've seen on the place. 14 to 16 points, but I was walking and he was across the fence in the trees. Couldn't get a real good look but he was huge. May have been the Freak from the pics we posted here earlier, but he looked to have a bigger body. Sunday afternoon we saw two good bucks paired up with does on our way to the stand, and were starting to see a bunch of bucks chasing. Our only problem is, they are in the trees eating acorns, and not making it out in public. Fischer was feeling the pressure. He decided Sat morning it was time to shoot a doe or spike, and went 4 hunts without seeing one to shoot. Then came Monday evening. We sat in the stand almost all day, besides our lunch break to pack up the truck. It was getting down to the last 30 mins or so and we see a spike working the fenceline to our left. Never could get a shot. Then he leaves and we start talking about how bad this sucked, and can't believe we spent all that time, and had nothing to show for it. Out of nowhere, Fischer points and says here one comes. Looks to be a big doe, and his mind was made up already. This one was going down. The 'doe' stops at about 120 yds right down in a shallow creek bottom. Presents a perfect shot opportunity, broadside, but standing on a decline. Sweet spot was right above ground level for our view. He says, alright I'm shooting. I watch through the binocs, and he fires. Deer stumbles and hightails it through the creek bottom to the other side and folds right up. Fisch thought he missed as soon as it ran, but I knew he nailed it, and sure enough, the shot went right through the heart. I don't have pics from the field, but Fisch has a few. Here are pics from the rack. We got this sucker gutted in less than 20 mins. In fact, we were locking the gate about 40 mins after the shot was fired. Probably an all-time record. Oh yeah, that earlier pic was Fischer's kill on the hoof. Pretty cool. We also saved a life Sunday afternoon. Poor goat was caught in the fence. Karma came back around. No goats were harmed.

I like the white spot on the forehead of mine. Overall it was a blast. We ate good, drank good and hunted good.

Is anyone else disturbed about this picture? And I'm not even talking about the knife part. I just want to know who allowed Sully to carry the homeless guy hunting? ?
