The Ags travel to Cowtown to play in the TCU regional with the winner going on the face tu for a CWS birth. This should be a good one.

Yep...been around top 10 all year...but up and down kind of like the Ags. Should be an interesting regional. TCU and A&M struggled at the end of the season and OSU won't the CWS just a few years ago. Not the toughest regional but one of the more interesting b/c you never know which team will show up from day to day.

If all teams play their best, A&M wins this one walking away.
That said, give me Oregon State.

If all teams play their best, A&M wins this one walking away. Really? 'Cause you've ever seen a TCU baseball game... That's funny because their only head-to-head game was at Olsen Field that A&M won 4-3 in 10. Ags started a junior. Frogs started a freshman. TCU outhit Aggie 10-8. TCU sandwiched the game between two conference series and just got off a stretch of playing 12 of 15 games on the road. Ags sandwiched it between an Okie Light series and DBU AND it was during a stretch of 13 consecutive home games. I'd say the teams are pretty evenly matched...with the Frogs having a slight advantage being at home.

You can say whatever you want.
There are very few players (if any) on TCU's team that got an offer from A&M. The Ags are more talented without any question. They started the year ranked in the top 5 of almost every poll, and even as the no. 1 team in a few polls.
Not to mention, they beat tcu already in the only head to head match up.
Also, Okie Lite is in a regional, DBU was last year.
TCU played San Diego State who is a regional qualifier before the Aggie game, and BYU afterwards. BYU sucks. You can't make the "we were overlooking you" or the "we were saving our guys" excuse any more than A&M can.

How many A&M games have you seen this year?
You used to be better at this. Not by much, but better. Maybe you are just rusty.

If our bullpen decides to make the trip A&M should be in pretty good shape. If not it could get ugly.

That's funny because last year A&M had the 27th ranked class and TCU had the 30th. I'm pretty sure they went after a lot of the same players. College Baseball is pretty cut-throat with EVERY team experiencing turnover issues every other year. It's not like football where you have a recruiting advantage just because of your conference. Non-BCS teams have a long history of success in baseball. Take the Big West. That's one of the best baseball conference in the country. They have UC Irvine (#1 at the end of the regular season and #6 national seed), Fullerton (#2 national seed), UC Riverside, Cal State Northridge, and Long Beach state all with good baseball histories. Fresno State won it all last year out of the WAC. Then there's Pepperdine in the West Coast Conference. You can't tell me that none of those guys get offers from Stanford, USC, ASU, and Zona. You can't tell me that the guys that Witchita State and Creighton get all the Big XII North and Big 10 castoffs. You can throw your BCS weight around in football but baseball is totally different.
Then there's Matt Purke out of Spring Oak...Rivals' #1 player in the nation. Committed to TCU...I see his interest list and I don't see TAMU. ASU, UF, Stanford, Rice...no TCU. Was projected as a top 5 pic in June but is slipping to the late 1st because all indications are that he will enroll at TCU in the fall...yeah, we don't recruit the calibur players that you guys do...
I've seen about 5 A&M games on TV and they look about as consistent as TCU...And I never made the argument that TCU was overlooking A&M. I just made the point that given the circumstances I'd say it was a pretty even matchup. Many TCU people bashed the team for the loss. I say if that if you're going to lose, that's a good way to lose. I have no doubt that TCU can play with A&M. They looked bad against TU but that's not the argument we're having right now.

If our bullpen decides to make the trip A&M should be in pretty good shape. If not it could get ugly. The teams mirror each other. Like I said, you don't know which team on either side will show up. Fischer is right in that OSU could easily take the regional.

It's possible, but OSU's offense is terrible. I know pitching wins in the playoffs but they are going to have a tough time scoring any runs.

That's what makes this one of the more intesting regionals. I think the only one more interesting is in Irvine. Did they get royally screwed or what?
