Note to Mike Leach:
I now know why you coach at a far off, middle of nowhere, outpost like Texas Tech. Your decision to go for a 4th and 5 from your own 30 in the third quarter by running a QB sneak is the dumbest coaching decision I have ever seen. Any team that would interview you for their head coaching position is bat sh1t crazy.
Thanks.

He ran it from under center, like he was going to blast Ole Miss 6 yards off the line of scrimmage. Dumbest move I have ever seen.

I think the dumber move was getting rid of Nutt for petrino. There is not really any way that an objective person would say that was an upgrade.

That's Leach, he likes to roll the dice. I agree it was a dumb move, but at least he isn't afraid to take chances like most head coaches.
I guess when you coach at a school in the desert that has never really won a lot in football you can take those chances.

Time will eventually tell if it was the correct move or not. Arkansas did Nutt a favor in firing him. Looks like it might have lit a fire. Regardless, he won with another coaches players just like he did when he first came to Arkansas. For now he is running true to form and I would bet that will continue.
