OU will continue to disappoint in the big game. Florida wins this by double digits. I second this for now, but since this game is over a month away there is no telling. I love the bowl system.

TCU got Boise St. for their bowl. Things aren't looking good for them.
Finch, I agree with you. OU cannot win the big dance. What have OU and the coach formerly known "Big Game Bob" done in big games lately? Mostly lose. The Sooners certainly have the talent to win this game, but they also have an uncanny ability not to show up when it counts. That doesn't bode well for them.

I think TCU did great with their bowl. It's the best possible matchup for them outside the BCS. People will actually watch the game. No one would have watched them and Zona in the LV Bowl. Kudos to the WAC for working this out. Last night on ESPN they talked about this game more than any other non-BCS bowl.

this is a great bowl for TCU and Boise. Like you said, its as big of a match up that those schools can have. It will be good for the two programs to finally get to show case their programs to a large audience. This is a victory for Mid Majors all over the nation. Now they have a little championship of their own.

It should be a yearly thing.

I think Utah automatically gets that championship by virtue of getting into the BCS.

Well, if they had the flower bowl as y'alls annual super bowl, then we could free up utah's spot in the BCS for a real contender. Then Utah could go play in the flower bowl.

It's either penis envy, winning envy, or BCS envy. I can't tell which one it is...

Now you are pounding your chest with utah's accomplishment??? They've been there before, and won. TCU can't get there.

It's either penis envy, winning envy, or BCS envy. I can't tell which one it is... How do you figure? An annual midmajor championship game would do wonders for your school. I would love watching it. Stubbs, don't get your feelings hurt just because we all think the MWC is a joke. Look at the bright side. Most people don't think its a joke...they've never even heard of it.

Then just take the midmajors out. They can play themselves and the BCS conferences can play each other and you'd have a MNC with 2-3 losses every year. The #25 team would have 5. That would be fun.

you are danged right it would be fun. It would be more fair, too.
But anyways, they could still play y'all for non conference and homecoming games. It just wouldn't count in the final standings.

Nope. No OOC games. You boys just play amongst yourselves.

that works just fine, too.
it would make the early games a heckuva lot better. I (and every fan of big time college football) would LOVE that set up.
