Yes, Aggies are the supposed kings of the delusional fan.
But Stubbs takes the cake.

KSU and TCU are about equidistant from each other to the BCS. KSU won't ever be anything again-even when Snyder takes over at coach. The boys in the south rule the roost and no one outside of Misery has a chance of knocking them off in the BCS title game. If I were him I'd hold off another year or two for a good job to open up. In the next years you could have these openings, all of which are better than KSU:
TAMU Arkansas-Petrino will probably bolt for the Bryan Bucs soon. Tech-if Leach leaves for somewhere else...but I doubt he would South Carolina-OBC will probably be retiring soon FSU-Bobby will either retire or die soon VaTech-rumors swirling that Beamer is contemplating retirement Bama-We all know Saban is always looking for something better. Auburn-Tubberville has a .700 WP but Auburn's expectations are often unrealistic. How much longer will the faithful put up with Chick-Fil-A Bowls? Arizona-Stoops is 22-33 in 5 years. He's on his way out. ASU Iowa-Ferentz won't last much longer. He's won two co-championships but they haven't been to a Rose Bowl since '91 and have missed out on a bowl the last two years.
These are ALL better than KSU.

The following quote proves that you are delusional: KSU and TCU are about equidistant from each other to the BCS. Dumbest statement I have ever heard. For TCU to make a BCS game they have to go undefeated, play (and beat) real schools in non conference, one of which has to be a top 10 team, have some luck with their strength of schedule, and then just be plain lucky. For KSU to make a BCS game they have to win the north (5 wins can do it sometimes) and win the Big 12 Championship game. No one would say those are equidistant. That has got to be one of the most retarded things ever posted on this board. Believe me, ask any one of the players that I've been around that has been recruited. To a man, they would choose KSU over TCU...its real, big time football. TCU is in an obscure, crappy conference. Not to mention, you act like TCU has always been good. They haven't. For a long, long time they were doormats. They will be again. Everything is cyclical.

Matt knows all that.
It pains him to face the truth that no matter the record, no matter the circumstance, TCU will ALWAYS be viewed as, at best, the 5th best team in Texas.

I would argue that TCU is more likely to make it to a BCS game than it is for KSU to make it. TCU doesn't have to go undefeated (as evidenced this year-had they won last Thursday they would have gone). Given the current state of both programs, TCU is more likely to go. For KSU to win 5 conference games would be nothing short of a miracle.

this year maybe (although tcu still can't do it). Too many stars have to align.
They have been decent (as far as mid majors go) for a few yrs now and still haven't been to a BCS bowl. K state has been to a BCS bowl. But once again, those purple glasses fail to see reality.
Every other year, no chance.

If the current rules were in place from the beginning, TCU would have gone to at least 2, if not 3, BCS bowls.

Look it up Mike. 2000 and 2005. If the current rules were in place then they would have gone. They were in the top 16 and were the highest ranked non-BCS team.

If your grandman had balls, she'd be your grandpa.
Seriously, you are the king of the if/then. How many have they actually been to? None. How many will they have actually been to after this year? None.
It never ceases to amaze me. You just don't get it. You making these extremely lame excuses and reasons for not succeeding is what defines your school. Real teams don't have to explain themselves, and make excuses for themselves. They just win.
