I'm not believing yet. Rivals is notorious for bad reporting. I haven't seen anything on the wires or ESPN. Until then, it's a rumor. However, if it's true...good ridance. If you're going to negotiate a contract before the year is over the week of probably the biggest game in your school's history then get the hell out. You're nothing but scum just like Petrino. We lost out on millions and national respect last night. Wow...after all that ass kissing this comes out.

Once again, it was prefaced with an 'if.'

Listening to Rivals radio yesterday and they are still strong on Patterson going to KSU. Pattersons people were in negotiations during the Utah week. What a scum!

I don't know what's worse...that you pay for that crap or that you believe that crap.

I don't know what's worse...that you pay for that crap or that you believe that crap. I don't know what's worse... Your case of denial, or the fact that KSU is a better job than your school. Rivals isn't anymore wrong than any other publication. Even if Patterson doesn't go to KSU, they were in negotiations...they don't just make stuff up.

They had all the details including deals for all his staff. It's a done deal. TCU will be left with nothing.
Finch? Interested?

The whole thing was fabricated by a KSU nut on an independant message board run by the world's biggest deuchebag. The guy that runs it hacked into my computer and several other people's on the TCU board. He didn't get far enough to do any damage-he just wanted to screw with us but it tells you the quality of character we're dealing with...The guy that started the whole thing has been saying the same thing since September. There only a handful of people on their site who are level-headed and all of them said that he's known for blowing things out of proportion and people believe him b/c of his ties to the university. Once Prince was fired and TCU last two days later the story got some legs and the KSU Rivals people ran with it. So here are the facts: Rivals stole the story from another message board. Rivals said multiple sources confirmed it but they never stated that these sources were within the university. They weren't even Rivals' sources. It was conjecture and hearsay. There might be something to it but Rivals didn't know anything more than what they stole from others. Why are Rivals and a two-bit Kansas paper the only ones who even spoke about it being true? All other publications spoke about the egg on Rivals' face. ESPN hasn't even chosen to comment on it.
Depending on who you talk to GP turned it down. Even KSU people say that. Who knows?
KSU would be a step down at this point. First off, Manhattan is the Lubbock of Kansas. It's a hell-hole. Second, the program is in such disarray right now it would take a good 3 years to turn it around. Snyder went after Jucos like priests go after boys. Prince had very little to work with and for some reason they still expect to be one of the best teams in the B12. They gave Prince an extension earlier this year and then cut him loose a few months later. It was a flash in the pan program while the B12 was down. It will never amount to anything more. GP is in the hotbed of recruiting. In Kansas he'll have to look out of state and probably resort to the Snyder-like stalking of JUCOs. TCU can give GP more money and they have a new stadium right around the corner. I'm not saying he'll leave but it wouldn't make sense to leave for KSU.

KSU is a better job than TCU.
Big 12 is a player in the BCS. Mountain West is an afterthought. That Big 12 North is wide open. Win it and you are a game away from a guaranteed BCS bowl.
Where there is smoke, there is fire. GP is looking, buddy. Count on it.

Denial is more than a river in Egypt.
he hacked into YOUR computer? I am not calling you a liar, but that is very far fetched.

Incredible, a Big 12 job is now a step down from TCU.
Once again thank you for your completely unbiased opinion.

I will say it again...
I have never, in my life, met a more delusional fan than Stubbs.

That's saying a lot considering how delusional some Aggie fans can be.
