Will GP throw his hat in the ring for this? Could it cause distractions before the Frogs biggest game of the year?

Tennessee is probably one of the top 5 jobs in the nation. I would throw my hat in the ring if I was GP.

Good school, great fans, great money, great conference...
I guess it just depends on if he wants to hear Rocky Top 50 times a game.
I think Muschamp(sp?) might be in the running for this as well, he has alot of SEC experience.

Muschamp will definitely be looked at.
Hearing from a guy I work with (HUGE Big Orange booster) that GP is on the short list and discussions will take place in the near future.

You sure run around with a lot of HUGE boosters. I wouldn't be surprised if you're talking football with Boone this week. How much do you have to make to be in these elite crowds?

No doubt GP's name will be rumored but I don't see them going after someone like him. I could actually see them try to steal Spurrier from the Cocks.

We are missing the real question here. If GP leaves do you think TCU will hire Fran back? I think they make a good fit.

As long as the hold off on the GP talk until Friday, it won't be a distraction. They'll probably talk to GP's people but I doubt he'll be their #1 guy.
I think he has the same agent as Mike Leach.
They WILL NOT hire Fran back. If GP leaves, it will set the program back 10 years.

The people of tennessee hate spurrier because he was at Florida and beat the crap out of them.
They would love him as their coach.
