Dedicated to all things RFT. Random musings welcomed. Zach having to play with a quarter. After the night was almost over I look down and there was a pick lying in the dirt right in the middle of us the whole time. Danny's new middle name-Beer Bong. Forest saving the accoustic roundtable. The blank look on passersby's faces when the see this new up and comer Texas artist-our very own, John Fischer. The 45 minute rain delay on the river-minus the rain. No bare female boobs. The genius of the stick-stay hard little buddy!

Me sweating through two shirts just to get the tent set up.
Tessa stepping out of the van Sunday morning, then Gabe, to our surprise.
Rain delay minus the rain...genius call.

1. Me accidently leaving the Stick on the short bus 2. Falling off of my cot, while calling Gabe an asshole. 3. Rodney deciding that the quarter was not worthy and tossing it. 4. Rodney demanding that Zack tune the guitar over and over 5. Gabe and Tess, a night that neither one of them remember 6. The Mikes showing up. 7. The absence of Stubbs peeing on the side walk

The absence of sidewalks on which to pee.
Me being the 4th string guitar player. Rodney yelling at me to play a C. Me turning him to show that I was, in fact, playing a C. Rodney still yelling at me to play an effing C; then grabbing the guitar and telling me this isn't going to work. I was fired before my first song was over.
Rodney's one second of sobriety on the entire trip.
The guitar's evenful night and morning. That SOB passed out in a chair and never made it back to bed.
Chandler's nice vocal arrangement on Plush.
My massive beer can wound.
Not meeting any new friends other than those in our group.
The bus driver pulling over halfway back to camp to close the back door that I was sitting against atop my cooler. Oops.

Me falling out of my tube again this year. And losing my hat. The beer bong. Underrated. The genius that was the acoustic song-swap. My hands and brain had completely lost all function at this point - I was like a baby who had never seen or heard of a guitar, and who couldn't begin to understand what a song was. Motivation talk with coach Fischer.

That may go down as the greatest and worst song swap of all time.

I discovered that I am a world class athlete in both tubing and bonging.
If I hear one more thing about a grown ass man's love affair with marajuana and jalapenos I'm going to throw up.

Thanks to Cowtown Mike for driving me back and forth from San Marcos.
I really need to stop playing guitar...ever.
The motivational/coaching conversation with Rodney was a highlight.
The float was a good one. I had a good time.
Self imposed Sandwich only rules are not good.
Props to Sully for disregarding said sandwich only rule and grilling.
That guitar was really big. huge actually.
Cowtown and Rhonda floating was greatness.

Yeah, those wide bodies and I don't mix well. I once found this awesome Taylor Grand Auditorium for real cheap but had to pass it up b/c I could barely get my hands to the strings.
Who knew that Cleveland, Texas rocked?
