Me and Tess having the brilliant idea of having an arm wrestling match. Me discovering that Tessa is much stronger than I am even when she is drunk. Feeench's Power Naps. Me being able to take a baseball in the face and not crying about it.

Ticket to rowdy float trip for two......$140
Gas money from Vernon, America to New Braunfels and then back.......$200
Cooler full of beer and sandwich meat.......$50
Endless coaching and football talk from the voice of reason.....priceless
There are some things money can buy, for everything else there's Coach Fischer.

Running into Randy Rogers at Hula Hut on the way back.
My Sunday morning impression of Fischer explaining the pros and cons of the 5-2.
Someone ganking my chair.
Sully looking like a red-eyed hungover hobbit Sunday morning.
Hardly paying attention to any other artists.
Rhonda passed out on the picnic table.
Cold but much welcomed showers.
Tiny stalls.

Sunday morning was rough. I couldn't believe everyone was up and out of there so early. What ever happened to Micah? I hardly saw him all weekend.

We could just do our own float trip next time and save some money. I only saw 1 1/2 shows.

Poor Briseno having to sit and get all of the air out of kelly's $3.97 "air mattress" before he could take down his tent.

Should have knifed the MF.
One day the Pesos will be big enough to have their own float trip.

Man I woke up and everyone was gone. This was somewhere around 11:30. It kinda freaked me out.

Rodney woke up thinking he was the lead in the remake of the Omega Man.

Thanks to the great JY and Coach Fischer for allowing us to stay at her place. That shower and A/C was a godsend.
I was not MIA. I knew where I was at all times.
Wading thru the crowd of lawn chairs before the Peso show like a conquering army; knowing that the crowd was about to experience THE highlight of their trip.
Watching Rodney convert concert goers into fans during a performance.
Matt doing his best Magnus Sammuelsson impersonation.
Thanks to Finch and Jen for hanging on to my cooler for so long during the float. Thanks to Micah for carrying it down the bank before the float.
Thanks to everyone for putting up with me. I had a great time.

more thoughts:
thanks to Coach Fischer for making the drive back and forth to San Marcos seem so short. Good conversation with a good friend is hard to beat.
thanks to Joe for being such a good sport and keeping his sense of humor.
watching over-zealous Zack talk football with Coach and RP was greatness.
beer bong Danny is hilarious
Gabe and his abstinence before the show
Brooks trying to get band members to wake up
Sully for his grilling expertise and his perspective on life
Kelly for "misplacing" Matt's stick
agree about the all sandwich thing. that was a failed bit.

Those of us that were hesitant to storm the stage should smite ourselves.
The mass exodus once the show was over was greatness.
Losing that stick is going to sting for a while. I was going to make it a floating tradition. We were all going to sign it. It would go into the Peso Hall of Fame next to the Beer Bong.
In the Graveyard. Enough said.

I apologize for the over talk of football...its almost that time of year and I am getting geared up for it.
