It's amazing how a little rainstorm will shut things down... we got about 5in and about 30-35mph winds where i was. old duckbutter got harder hit over in the nerdland than h-town did. they had about 70mph winds for a good portion of the day from what i heard. but never fear...i'm back...and bored at work so you're stuck with me LOL

They had 45 mph winds in the 8th inning of the Ranger game the other night...
Remember when we had those bad storms in the spring? Wind speeds over by our place were clocked in excess of 80 and other places got close to 90. That's crazy but it was pretty cool seeing a tree bend all the way to the ground and not break or fall down.

i remember you speaking of your hurricane at the ranger game. probably just them sucking the life out of game itself. lol
yeah ive been thru some pretty crazy shit with storms. just a part of what you deal with living 25 mins from the gulf.

There is not a more boring team in the history of baseball. From their announcers, to the Astrodome, to their horrible uniforms-ALL BORING. Our Rangers, on the other hand, represent all that is good about baseball (don't worry about the starting pitching).

lmao. i know the astros suck but they're on (or were on) a winning streak right now. its ok. im a die hard fan. the only way to be. kinda like a chicago cubs fan... not too many teams i would pay 500 bones to go see lose in game 3 of the world series
