State of the art stadium that can't get more than 17k unless it's TTU. Just wait until TCU is done with their renovations. ACS has character and tradition. Every MWC opponent loves how the stadium feels. . You have to consider that every other MWC school plays in a high school like facility. It doen't take a whole bunch to impress them.

What do you think Gary Patterson thinks about his nemesis being paid $2 million per year? I bet that will cause all kinds of tension among the coaches and the administration. He can't feel very wanted at TCU. Would you? Jones makes over 1 mil more than Patterson. Now, that's hilarious. TCU doesn't have near the facilities, money, or history that SMU has behind it. Recruiting takes a major swing this year toward the Dallas side of the metroplex. Who likes purple anyway?

Start winning some games and maybe you can be on the map. SMU has not passed TCU at all. It's one hire and that equals the amount of games they won last year.

Didn't June Jones interview with the Atlanta Falcons?
I guess that should tell you what he thought about the potential at SMU.

Or 1, as in 1 million, which is more than Patterson makes in a year.

Recruiting takes a major swing this year toward the Dallas side of the metroplex. Who likes purple anyway? At the time GP signed his extension, he was one of the higher paid coaches in the country. His contract is not up yet but everyone knows that it's time to talk extension. I think something will be done this spring to take care of Mr. Patterson. Facilities? All they have is a brand new stadium and I bet there's still some seats that have never been used. And history? I'm not saying that TCU has much but they have two national championships compared to the one that SMU has is from '81 where the Peewee Football Writers of North Texas gave them a NC. They had a good run in the 80s but it was all wiped out by the Death Penalty. Everyone looks at those years as having an asterisk. SMU has Doak Walker and used to play in the Cotton Bowl. That's all the history they have.

A coup?? are you kidding? What B.S. rag do you read that gives you all this drivel that you spew out? Or do you just make it up? Spoke to an alum before the show Saturday. He's a pretty decent doner-10k+ a year. Not much compared to others but still put him in the upper percentile. He said that alums are pissed at how long the process was taking and were pushing for them to settle on Fran before the Christmas break.
