He's going to Baylor.
SMU is not big time enough for his huge ego.

According to my insides sources, SMU is going to turn heads with their hiring of Nutt. He has shown interest in Baylor, but I think SMU "ponied" up the bucks and is doing what needs to get done to bring Nutt in as the next head coach.

I'm sure he has Sexton (his agent) looking hard for a new gig. Sources tell me he was informed last week his services were no longer required at Arkansas.
He may work out for SMU. They have low expectations and he can certainly deliver on those.
If he goes to SMU; I will go to a few games and wear my hog hat; just to piss him off.

I can see him announcing before the bowl game (if there is one) that he is leaving Arkansas because of "personal reasons" and taking the job at ______. Just one more big F-U to the fans of Arkansas from Houston Dale.

At least he's out of there. That's what you guys wanted.
Who's next? Mike Leach? Art Briles? I doubt they go after a big name.

My sources also say that the Ags are in negotiations with Spurrier. I sure hope my source is wrong on this one, I think The Old Ball Coach's time has passed.
I also hear Mike Sherman for A&M and it make me sad.
I want Rich Rodriguez, and in my dreams I want Jon Gruden.

Rodriquez would be the best hire. They need to go big with this one.

See, I think Rodriguez would be good, as would Gruden. But I wish we would get our version of Bob Stoops. Up and coming def. Coordinator, hires a great staff, and is a lifer at A&M...at least until he's won a bunch of Big 12 titles and has a couple of MNC's and decides to go win Superbowls for the Cowboys.

The Arkansas job will be offered to: 1) Butch Davis 2) Tommy Tubberville After they turn it down...look over at OU for Brent Venables, LSU for Bo Pelini, Auburn for Will Muschamp. I would try to make a run at Ron Zook. If Todd Graham from Tulsa would bring Gus Malzahn (FU NUTT!)with him...I might take a look at him too. No on Leach and Briles.

Exactly. I love Pelini as A&M head coach. We met with him last Spring and it was awesome. He is extremely firey and energetic and a brilliant DC.
Sadly, I don't hear much about him.
Tubberville won't go arkansas. He will most likely stay at Auburn. I think Butch might be interested in Arkansas, that is who I picked long ago.
Zook is an interesting choice. So is Graham.
I also like that guy at Cincinatti.
