Who had the foresight to hire Jimmy Johnson as his head coach? That was all nepotism and rascalism. If they didn't play together for the roothogs, he wouldn't have hired Jimmy. Even still, that was almost 19 years ago. 19 years ago, Jerry could handle this juggling act. There comes a time in everyone's life where they have to realize that they don't have the capability to do what they once did. His time has come and I'm convinced he knows it but he's afraid that his legacy won't be as great if he doesn't win one on his own. Just let it go. Some things aren't meant to be. He's great business man and still has the ability to do that. No one can take away what he build that franshise into. He'll go in to the Hall of Fame for that. Not for his personel decisions.

I can't believe that you continue to give this oaf a free pass. He's a business man. Not a football man. After 10 years, don't you get tired of the same act?

I already told you what I get tired of, its people who sit in their office all day and think they know how to do someone else's job, even though they have no qualifications.

We are criticizing the Rangers as a team and their performance right now. What we arent doign is criticizing the decision making of anyone.

Well let me open the assault. Danks for Donelly. Bad move. The Young and Gonzales trade-bad move. If this keeps up for another year or two, Daniels is going be have his resume up on Monster. I know that building takes time but after 10 years, isn't it time to go another direction?

Well its easy to say they are bad moves now, at the time they didnt seem all that bad. Thats just the risks of transactions in baseball.

My thoughts too. That's why I'm not ready to throw him overboard yet. If it was Hart, then I would, but I'm willing to give this kid some lattitude...just not 10 years.

Craig, you took the words out of my mouth about criticizing the losing of the team and their play.
Stubbs, you are the king of hindsight, yours is even better than 20-20.
