So do we get the Browns first round pick next year? If so, theres a good chance we will have a top 5. I'm betting on the first pick. Jerry better tap the brake on the lineman they got from NIU. TCU manhandled him in the Poinsettia Bowl. He's got a long way to go but Jerry is heralding him as the second coming of Larry Allen. Maybe he's just happy that he didn't have to overpay for a free agent lineman bust.

You are in way over your head on this criticism Stubbs.
I am not saying he is going to be a star, but I think the guys in the Dallas Cowboys Warroom know a little more than you.

I was mainly talking about the jubilancy of Jerry. If you heard the call, he could barely hold back the excitement.
BTW, this is Jerry we're talking about.

Yeah you are right...
3 Super Bowl Championships: Jerry Jones
3 Intramural League playoff losses: Stubbs.

We all know that was Jimmy. Over the last 10 years, I think we've all earned the right to question Jerry's ability to judge talent.

You are retarded.
It amazes me that people who don't have the first clue at all about football, talent, skill, development, coaching, or potential think they know who to draft.
Feel free to criticize, I never said you couldn't. I just think it shows your ignorance.

It amazes me that people who don't have the first clue at all about football, talent, skill, development, coaching, or potential think they know who to draft. This defines Jerry. Last year's "success" was all Parcels. So hiring Gailey and Campo were good ideas? Trading all your first round picks for the next 50 years for Galloway was a good idea? Signing Marco Rivera and Anthony Henry was a good idea? I'm not saying that I know how to do any of that. I'm just saying that Jerry has about the worst track record of an GM in sports history. He finally did a good thing in hiring Parcels and Phillips but I think they will never even sniff the greatness they had in the 90s with Jerry running the show.

He needs to stick to running the business side. He's proven that he's great at that. I think he just has too much on his plate trying to do what he does.

Stubbs...I wish I had more time to address this.
YOU HAVE NO IDEA WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT.
Its easy for you to look back and say this and that didn't work. The fact of the matter is, Jerry Jones has three lombardi trophies. You can say well that's because of Jimmy or that's because of Parcels. Whatever you want. The only facts are this: 3 SUPER BOWL TROPHIES.
I can't say this enough, you have no clue what you are talking about. ZERO. NONE.

Who had the foresight to hire Jimmy Johnson as his head coach?

But can you live off those 3 trophies for the rest of your life? No. Landry was great. 2 trophies and 3 more runners-up. But even for a giant, there comes a time when it's time to go. Jerry's time to go flew by 5 years ago. So you want him to be the GM of your team? That's the only beef I have with him. There is no other team in the league who would hire him as their GM. It's been 10 years. How much longer will you give him a free pass?
