What a rough week for Petrino.
Not only does he piss off his wife and hurt his kids/family, but he injures his girlfriend and loses her along the way plus she probably lost her job, loses an incredible job with a great opportunity to win next year, misses out on his comp package by breaking his contract, damages his bike, and last bus certainly not least has his neck-braced road-scraped mug all over the internets.
Pretty funny.

Yeah, hilarious.
Just to set the record straight. His whore was not injured and still has her job. It wouldn't be right to fire her.
We're Arkansas, we specialize in doing the right thing and knowing our place.

Firing him IS the right thing to do. He is a snake and an idiot and Arkansas knew that going in.
He is in blatant violation of his contract and has made Arkansas look very bad. If you're mad at someone, it should be petrino. The ad's only mistake is taking a chance in hiring him in the first place.
It's possible to win without selling your soul.

How did she not get hurt and he came out looking like he was a victim in Jasper? First off, abrasive. Second, that scrawny swim coach probably beat the crap out of him.

What I'm saying is, if you look around this room, it's full of hustlers, killers and sharks. Oklahoma and Alabama have been cheating so long that it is entrenched. You don't have to look any further than Florida to see the aftermath of the pissed off media folks from the outside now getting to shine a light on Urban Meyer's stuff... but you know what? The typical Gator fan got himself a few NC's out of the deal while they covered all the bullshit up and he'll take that deal, every day of the week. Your Auburn fan was willing to suspend all credibility for that Crystal Ball and I doubt any of them feel too awful bad about it, deep inside. It would suck to watch those sorry rednecks up the road constantly lie their way to 59 National Championships, imaginary or not, and not have something to throw back at them. They TOOK the opportunity to stick the knife in big brother's side for a year, no matter what the cost. They've shown the willingness to do it before and that is why they are so high on the NCAA all time offender list.
You won't white knight your way to a championship - every school that has put itself in that game has been willing to do whatever it takes - WHATEVER it takes - from Ohio State to Oklahoma to Tennessee to the SEC West people. We just aren't willing to do it and I guess we will have to pretend that we sleep better at night because of that, whether we really do or not.
Just curious, are the good Aggie fans willing to hand back all those SWC wins they got during the Jackie Sherrill era?

Mike, you should take great pride in the fact that they did the right thing. I had very little respect for them before this. Now, I will find myself pulling for them. I think in 3-4 years you'll look back and be thankful this happened. I hear what you're saying about everyone else but there's something to be said about being different. Most importantly, parents will see this as a HUGE plus when helping their kids make a decision of where to go.

I wasn't talking about cheating. Im talking about hiring a snake like petrino. The way he cheated isn't an issue. It's his arrogance, and lack of any sort of credibility or accountability that makes him such a risk.

I've also heard the rumor about there not being a wreck. I doubt it's true.
But who couldn't whip an old out of shape man when you were 26?

Just curious, what do you think about the morals of Jimmy Johnson, Bear Bryant and Barry Switzer?
