VTU expands the footprint, buddy. Also do not rule out Mizzou, WVU, or Oklahoma. I thought this was the mighty and elitist SEC? Aren't they the king of the hill? Why do they need to expand their footprint? They own CFB.

It would by so great/funny if OU joined TAMU in going to the SEC leaving Dan B hung out to dry.

I just dont see any downside for Aggies with this move. Don't understand all the local media opposition.

Ou will stick with UT until the bitter end. They both are looking for the easiest path to a BCS championship.

If you're sitting still, you're losing ground. So you're saying that a 16 team Big 10, Pac12, and ACC would be better than a 12 team SEC?

Not on the football field, don't be silly. If your conference plays the best football AND a large market share, revenue is thru the roof.

TCU will be in the Big 12, eventually.

TCU has ZERO interest in the BEVO 12. There's no way that happens unless the Big East gets raided. This notion that the Bevo Nine should ask TCU and Arkansas is about the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Why go to a sinking ship? When it falls apart where do you go? You've already burned bridges with the BE. We got screwed once by those schools once...it's not happening again. FYI Mike, Frank Windeggar aint asleep at the AD wheel anymore.
Revenue is and always will be through the roof. Will adding two more teams make it more profitable when there are two more mouths to feed? ? How much more revenue does 2 teams add? FSU brings more to the table as far as TV sets than VT does.

Fla, Ga, USC, KY will not allow another school from their states to join SEC.
TCU is in no position to decline.

One exception to the 2 teams from one state rule would be UT. If they want in the SEC, they're in.

Tell me, what is the benefit of going to the Bevo 9? The conference is held together by the elastic waistband of 20-year-old underwear. Why be someone Texas will try to kick around? They didn't want us in 1995 and all other teams have ducked us in one way or another except Baylor and OU. What is the benefit? They going to give us 9 mill like Baylor does while TU gets 30? If revenue isn't going to be equal do you think they'll give us our fair share? No...they'll give us less than Baylor. Why would they accept getting as much as UH, AFA, or UTEP? It's a dying conference. Good riddance.

I don't see the point. Seems like a redundant article to me.

I thought it explained the situation rather well.
