This thing is going to start off 35-5 like the '84 Tigers. The Hardline just made this same point.

The Rangers are playing about as good as anyone right now. Or better than everyone. 9-1.

You're not playing along. I was speaking in generics.
I wish MLB was like English soccer so the Astros could be demoted to AAA and a real team could be promoted to the majors. I'm not just saying this because I hate the Astros and every version of ugly-ass uniforms they've ever had, or because of their horrendous former home, or because of the ridiculousness of their centerfield escarpment and the least picturesque left field in baseball...it's because of how painful it is to watch them on the field. They don't hit. They don't throw. They don't catch. They don't run. I really can't figure out what they do right. They have the least managerial-looking manager in baseball. Even our Trinity river bum pushing a shopping cart of a manager looks more baseball than Brad Mills. He looks like the dad who coached the worst team in little league and didn't know how to hit fungo. That organization really needs an extreme homeplate makeover.

Got a chuckle out of me. It was well thought out.
I don't know what the Cards are doing. Only follow them when I'm in STL, since I can't get the Rangers games.
I know Pujols is batting .125 or so and has hit into 10 or so DP's.

This thing is going to start off 35-5 like the '84 Tigers. Good gosh...the 'Stros are even worse than I thought. I expected about 75 wins...they may not see 70. Rangers wheels are off. Josh D.L. Hamilton just had his monthly injury (hello DL), Borbon is an idiot and Oday, Wilson, and Lewis are suspect at best. New York will send this thing into a tailspin of epic proportions.

karma is a mother when you act snotty and ugly all you guys should thank stubbs for injuring hambone. that TCU mentality will bite you every time. sucks hamilton is on the DL. Rangers were on a roll. I was counting on team #2 to bring me some joy. Now I'm just as depressed as ever.

not on the DL...yet. But his sorriness is showing: espn.go.com/blog/dallas/texas-rangers/"It was just a stupid play," Hamilton said. "I definitely shouldn't have done it.
“I listened to my third-base coach. That’s a little too aggressive. The whole time I was watching the play I was listening. [He said],'Nobody’s at home, nobody’s at home.’ I was like, ‘Dude, I don’t want to do this. Something’s going to happen.’ But I listened to my coach. And how do you avoid a tag the best? By going in head first and get out of the way and get in there. That’s what I did.”
way to be a leader. Hey Hamilton-sliding headfirst is never a good idea for a training table queen like you.
