What an awesome start to the season for the Rangers. Bats were incredible and pitching wasn't too shabby. In fact Harrison was outstanding and CJ wasn't as bad as the score showed thanks to Jules. This was very exciting to watch.
As for the Astros......

This is pretty sad. I'm sitting here watching my second Cardinals game of the year, in a hotel in STL. Got the rangers game on MLB Gameday, but this sucks. I'll be going to the Cardinals game tomorrow night. That's 3 games Cardinals, and only one Rangers game I've seen so far.

You lost your Ranger Card on opening day so don't kill yourself over it.

I missed Opening Day big time. That's the first Rangers Opening Day I've missed in the last 5. No Coors Light party, no Rangers. But, the Cardinals Opening Day was so strong. One of the contractors working for us bought the MVP deck in the outfield for our potential customers, then got two seats on row 2 behind home plate. These two seats were the best seats I've ever sat in. Downtown STL as the backdrop. There's something to be said for a downtown ballpark. They brought out the Clydesdales, tailgates all started early morning. Before line-ups were introduced, they brought out all the Cardinal Hall of Famers. Pretty freaking cool. Fans here are great. I got to sit with the guy in the home plate seats. These were part of the Cardinal Club. Free food and drink the whole time, and access to a full restaurant and bar under the stadium. Plush seats, the works. Here are some pics. It was pretty cool. When I got here today, another contractor of ours gave me 4 tickets right behind the visitor dugout for tomorrow night's game. Full report to come... I still love the Rangers!

All i'm saying is the cards are weak for using that tailgate step the new fords have on them. hop down like a real man Stros are off to a rough start. we would have won opening day but frikkin brandon lyon (who i've since dropped in fantasy) f'ed that up for us. rangers are off to an AWESOME start! that grand slam saturday was amazing. I was at mom and dads house watching the game. When that happened, I screamed so loud, I woke my mom up and scared my dog. At least my #2 team isnt disappointing me.

Two sweeps to start the year is pretty solid I would say. More than we can say about Sully's Cardinals.

yeah, I would say the Rangers have started pretty good.
2 sweeps in a row is great no matter the time of the year. People keep saying "its just the beginning, who cares?"
Last time I checked, the games played early count just as much as the ones played in September in the standings.

Exactly. And this might mean even more because of the confidence it puts in this team. Maybe. I don't know. I love it though.

Cardinals have sucked it up. Rangers have played great. The bats have been unbelievable, but the pitching has been just as good. Gotta keep this up.
