What an amazing run of Goliath slaying DFW sports teams are going through. The Rangers take down the mighty Yankees. TCU takes down TU to go to the CWS then takes down the BCS and Big Ten. The Mavs overthrow the Laker dynasty and then slay the evil villain in the Heat. Here's to the underdogs.

It feels even better that the Mavs won it by beating the Heat and Lebron.
I am also really happy for all these older guys on the Mavs that finally got the ring, especially DIRK. He deserved it.

Nine guys with over 10 years experience winning their first title. That's awesome.
Leebron and Dwade may end up winning a handful but it was really sweet that the Mavs stopped them in their first year and first attempt. If they do turn into a dynasty everyone will point to what the Mavs did to motivate them.
