Oregon only has two. Are they deserving of playing for a title? After they beat Arizona they would only have 1-Stanford...who's only top 25 team after next Saturday will be...Oregon. Let's just give all the BCS invites to the SEC.

I am sure you are in favor of the most deserving teams receiving BCS bids? You don't support some kind of affirmative action type of bid distribution...do you?

So you are saying that the Pac 10 is equal to the MWC? Ranked or not the Pac 10 schedule is still better. Not even close. Haha so you aren't going to count Arizona because after Oregon BEATS them they will drop out. Well then TCU is going to have zero because once Utah loses to SDSU they will drop out. I can see that logic at the beginning of the year when the ranking are ridiculous cause no one actually knows (see Oregon State).

If Boise, Auburn, Oregon win out...TCU will not play in a BCS bowl. Someone broke it down today on TexAgs, I'll try to do it by memory but I might miss something. Here goes. Auburn, Oregon, Boise, TCU win out LSU win out Ohio State and/or Wisconsin win out Stanford win out Here is the break down of what would probably happen if all those teams win out. BCS - Auburn v Oregon Rose - Stanford (in place of Oregon) v Michigan State Sugar - LSU (in place of Auburn) v tOSU/Wisconsin Fiesta - Big 12 winner v Big East winner Orange - ACC winner v Boise Sucks for TCU, but there is a pretty decent chance they get left out in the cold because I really don't see any of these teams losing other than maybe tOSU, but Wisconsin would just take their place so it doesn't really matter.

LSU has a great chance to win out.
Not saying its a sure thing, but they SHOULD beat Arkansas.

There's only one problem with this postulate: The Rose Bowl is contractually obligated to take the non-AQ automatic qualifier, which will be either TCU or BSU. If BSU ends up in front of TCU it leaves the OB, according to this prediction, with Stanford and the ACC winner. There is absolutely no way the OB chooses Stanford. The BCS pecking order this year is Orange, Sugar, and Fiesta. The Orange could take LSU but I'm sure there's some gentleman's agreement between the conferences not to take another's if their champion is playing in the NC game and they have another at-large qualifier. The OB could take whoever is leftover in the Big 10, and I suspect they will. The Sugar will take LSU and an at-large. The Fiesta will be forced to take the Big East champ. That leaves one at-large for the Sugar. Do they take Stanford? Their only other choices will be another BXII team or TCU. If OU wins Bedlam and then beats Neb in the BXIICG then the BXII probably won't have another qualifier and it will come down to Stanford and TCU.

Well maybe I am confused but wouldn't the Rose Bowl still take the Pac-10 team? Stanford wouldn't be an AQ. They would be an at large bid.

Every bowl is obligated to eventually take a non-AQ school that qualifies. The Fiesta and Sugar have already taken one. The rules state that from January 2011 through Jan 2014, the first year the Rose loses a team to an auto bid they have to take a team from the non-AQ group that is an automatic qualifier.
BTW, the pecking order this year is Sugar, Orange, Fiesta so the SB will take LSU and a Big 10 team. The OB will have to choose between Stanford and TCU/BSU.

Good call Stubbs, you are correct.
That will be a tough decision between Stanford and TCU. Neither has that large of a fan base and neither travels very well. It will be interesting to see how things work out.
