He's still a tool and bitter that TCU didn't offer his daughter a swimming scholly and she had to go to Wyoming.
He's right in that the BXII needs to get their ess together soon but the Big 10 delivered a HUGE blow to them by announcing that they won't explore any further expansion. Bo Pelini said that the BXII would seek expansion but at this point, who?
If the Big 10 were seeking to expand even further, Syracuse, Pitt, and Rutgers would be the likely choices. That would leave the Big East severely mamed and teams like Cincy and LV seeking a new conference home. Instead, the BE has now added TCU and Notre Dame is the number one target on their radar. Who else would the Big XII go after? CSU? They don't play baseball and are dreadful in football. They don't bring in the Denver area that they lost in CU. AFA? Last night Turd James said Boise. Boise? Really? They don't play baseball. Their academics are worse than the SEC could ever imagine. With this in mind, the Big East would also look at schools like Kansas and Missouri to get to 12, if they can get ND. I keep waiting for this huge BXII TV contract to happen but nothing has happened and who knows if Beebe can even deliver 50% of the dollars he promised. The Big East's TV contract is up after next year and they are in the process of creating their own network which would bring in HUGE amounts of money. There is also thought that they will be looking to kick out 2-3 current basketball schools.

Craig suggested the BIG 12 invite Boise and Arkansas.
Big 10 will add Notre Dame.

Oh yeah, he said Arkansas too. Dear Turdface, this isn't the SWC. Ark loves the money and will not be a pawn in the Big XII's Ponzi scheme. I think it was Asspimple Gilmore who said a few weeks ago that they'd be instant contenders instead of a middle of the road team in the SEC. Um, APG, that middle of the road team was a few questionable calls away from playing in Glendale.
The Big 10 sent out a press release over the weekend stating that they will not be exploring further expansion for the foreseeable future. They are probably 2-3 years from even entertaining the idea of exploring expansion again.

He's still a tool and bitter that TCU didn't offer his daughter a swimming scholly and she had to go to Wyoming. First, no one mentioned TCU. They have nothing to do with this article. Second, He doesn't have an axe to grind with TCU football because the swim team didn't offer his daughter a scholarship. You have got to be kidding me. Go back and read some of your posts out loud and listen to yourself. Its ridiculous. Newsflash, no one is out to get TCU. They aren't relative enough.

Exactly. They are not out to get TCU because they are too busy trying to screw over Arkansas and the great Bobby Petrino.

No one is trying to screw Arkansas, either.
They are in the Sugar Bowl.
BTW, if money was the same, Arkansas would be wise to move to the Big 12. It would help recruiting, they have a bunch of old rivals from the SWC, and they would have a better shot year in, year out to play for the MNC.
Sure they are going to have a shot every now and then in the SEC. But in the Big 12 they could have a legit shot nearly every year, just like ou and tu.
Also, other sports are better in the Big 12.

No thanks, not interested in anything run by the University of Texas. I also would argue your claim of Big 12 superiority. I'll give you basketball, otherwise SEC is better.

I didn't say the article had anything to do with TCU. I just pointed out that he's a tool and bitter that his daughter wasn't offered a scholarship from TCU and has to swim on the frozen tundra of Wyoming. He wrote a hate piece about TCU last year and got pelted with emails from TCU fans; which he stupidly decided to actively engage in a few email exchanges that resembled that FAU color guy that threatened to fight anyone.
I find it funny that you singled out one sentence out of 20.

I didn't read the rest. When I read something as ridiculous as that sentence I stop wasting my time.
Pelted with emails from TCU fans? All 6 of them? You act like TCU is some big great fan base. Before the last two years most people outside of the metroplex had never heard of TCU.

No thanks, not interested in anything run by the University of Texas. This should be Arkansas ONLY response. The best thing they did was get out of the shadow of Texas. Sure, they haven't had the success in football or basketball that they wanted but I think given another 20 years people will barely remember it and their athletic program will be the best in the SEC. I was talking to a guy the other day about TCU and the B12. I said it would be nice to be able to drive to road games but in the end it's better for us to be in the BE. Let's just say that TCU joined the B12, won the conference, and played in the Fiesta Bowl. The way the money is structured, they'd still be getting about the same about of money that Baylor and ISU would get. The Big XII's very nature is to keep the poor poor no matter how much success they have. TCU always would get 7-8M and Texas would always get 20M+. The Big East doesn't evenly distribute money either but the gap isn't as wide. I feel that TCU will be treated fairly in the BE. Now, Ark wouldn't get the same kind of treatment and would get a bigger piece of the BXII pie but they'd still always be under the shadow of UT and would never have the same one equal vote that they have in the SEC. Bevo would always rule the conference and, in the end, that will be the demise of the Big XII. Piggy needs to stay exactly where they are.
