I don't think we did that. If anything we might have opened the glove box and made it look like it was closed. But I think we just opened it and made it look like the stuff had fallen out when she shut the door to get out.

It was a snail, and I never ate it, I just pulled it out of its shell. After that I was too grossed out to finish the job.

The deer hunting has been shitty, but that hasn't stopped us from good times. We got on a beer drinking lease, rather than a deer hunting lease. Only one deer was shot in 4 days out there. 5 hunters for that long, you'd think we'd get something else.
Good times were definately had though. We shot our first ducks too.

The hunting was pretty bad, that is for sure. But you are vastly over stating the amount of hunting that went on this past weekend.
*Three of the hunters were only out there a day and a half, you and finch were there for Saturday evening, all day sun, all day mon, and tuesday morning.
*two of us hunted together for one of the hunts, and you hunted out of your truck.
*Two of us didn't hunt one of the hunts
*Everyone quit early on Saturday morning
*Saturday night I shot a buck. You moved 4 or 5 times, that can't help the cause.
*Sunday morning everyone quit early except for Scheu.
* It was hot and windy all week.
By no means do I think the hunting has been great, but you are over exaggerating its crappiness. There have been other decent bucks that were passed on, too.

From my perspective (5 hunts in 5 different spots, only saw 3 deer), the hunting is as shitty as it gets. No two ways about it, this has just been a bad year. I did have a shot on a nice buck, but I also didn't know that was going to be my one and only chance.

Thank you, Finch. I hunted more this year than ever before. Probably had close to 30 sits or more. Shot a doe and a spike. Didn't see a deer on our place over 120 class. That is all.

I agree with that. It was awful slow this year. But, it's never as bad as you make it out to be. I saw deer on every single sit, had 4-5 legit shots at bucks. Nothing that great, but better than some places. Also couldve shot a decent Dow probably 5-6 times but was after a buck at those times.

Well, it looks like we are going to take one last big trip this deer season.
Going to be pretty laid back, though.
Doyle, Framp, anyone else want to come down this weekend? Should be a great time.
