I bet someone else shoots him before I get a chance to, but if I ever see him, he will be down.
I would imagine the same can be said for Finch, Scheu, or Sully.

We need to have a bounty on that sucker for sure.
He should be shot on sight, no questions asked.

The dove huntin sucked last weekend, but we're seeing more and more deer every time out. And the deer just keep getting better. We set Bryan's stand, which was a damn chore. I think he has Central HVAC in that thing. He insulated it, with interior walls, glass windows and interior trim. Also sitting on a 4 foot base with a porch, stairs and handrails on the back. He wins best blind award for sure. About killed 4 of us as we shimmied it off the truck onto the base.
This is shaping up to be a fun deer season.

When is turkey season? There are 4-6 turkeys that I see once or twice a week running around our place and Thanksgiving is just around the corner.

I'm really looking heavy at the Ruger M77 Hawkeye 30-06. That bitch is bad son.. Either I go that route or I dump a grand into a custom build AR-10 308. I just cant make my mind up yet. I hunt with a 1964 Marlin 30-30, that my buddy is holding in the pic. I love that gun. I'd like to go with a more longer shot, but where I hunt, you don't really have the option of lobbing one out there at 300 yards. It's usually around 100 yards or less when I squeeze one off, so the 30-30 is perfect for that. And this..This here is my Thompson Center Contender 30-30 pistol. Perfect single shot gun for Hogs at close range. You wanna talk about a Mule... This thing stomps.

very cool.
My next purchase is going to be an o/u 20 gauge or a hi point 9mm carbine (cheapo varmint gun that kind of looks like a black gun)

I'd stay away from the Hi point 9MM job. Don't waste your money. A buddy of mine bought one and I think the thing is junk. However.. 9 mil is cheap.
Get you a good solid 22 mag for varmit. Hell if you had to, you could deer hunt with a 22 mag. With a well placed shot behind the ear, anything will drop.

The Hi Point Pistols are terrible. The Hi Point carbines are very highly rated and I can get one for less than $200. I have a .22LR and a .22 mag may be in my future somewhere, but right now I'd rather have something that's really cheap and easy to shoot that is crappy enough to throw around the truck.
I am sure there are plenty of "lemons" with the hi point, but they have a lifetime warranty.
Still haven't decided, though. Probably going with the 20 ga. Also would like to get a beater 12 gauge to have as my back up, and for buddies to use when they go hunting with me.

Of course, I also want a .22 Revolver, a Browning Citori 12, an AR 15 or another .223, and a few others.
Basically, I don't know what my next purchase will be.

Going out to the lease tomorrow for another weekend.
Hope to get windows on my blind, shoot what little dove we have, murder some varmints and bullfrogs and drink a few.
