Upon further review, I think the Rangers are worse than the Clippers. The Clippers have made the playoffs 4 times, and have won one playoff series.
The Rangers stand alone.

But multiply their years of existence by 2 and then compare it to the Rangers. Yes they have won one series but only been 4 times when they have had a much greater opportunity. Either way its suck against suck.

smite to sully for bad logic, a terrible list, and blatant homerism. I never said Rangers were better than anyone other than the Royals and Pirates. Since, I've moved the Rangers to the bottom of the baseball list. If you look at the list. It's divided by league.

Nope. Sully is right, the last one they won was in '72. They did go to the finals in 90, I believe. It was Edmonton's last Cup win. It's kind of funny listening to Sully talk hockey. I think it was an obvious attempt to draw me offsides. Boston isn't even the worst of the original six. Chicago and Toronto have been waiting longer than Boston to win a Cup. If it weren't for NYR's Cup in '94 they would have the longest drout of the original six. It's hard to guage who is the worst NHL franchise because there has been so much turnover. The Winnipeg/Phoenix franchise has been horrible. They won a few titles in the old WHL with Bobby Hull but they got the hose when they entered the NHL and were raped of their talent. They had a long string of last place finishes in the old Smyth division. I think this is only the second year they've made the playoffs since moving to Phoenix in '96. The old Quebec franchise was horrible as well until they moved to Denver and won a cup shortly thereafter. Pittsburgh has won three cups and had about 7 other seasons of being really good but the other 33 years or so are some of the worst 33 years that any franchise has ever had.
That concludes today's Five Minute Major.

I might give the Clippers the worst tag because this is their 3rd city and they have had every opportunity possible to build a decent team through the lottery. Their lottery picks have turned out to be bust after bust after bust...
Either way, it's a virtual dead heat.

We are basing all of this on playoff appearances and wins. What happens when you factor in the actual value of the franchise? I'd like to think the Rangers are better off than a lot of teams. Zero NFL teams will be anywhere near the bottom of that list.

Craig you can multiply the time they've been in existence by whatever you want. The rangers still would have zero playoff series wins. Zero times any number is zero

Zero times any number is zero Yea i know but I was going more toward appearances. Only 4 teams a year win a playoff series in baseball. Im not defending the Rangers. They have a suck history. I just like to argue.
